My daughter is named Satie because of this beautiful song , no matter how it's played with any instrument it's only half as beautiful as the premature baby I hold every day she is now eight years old and healthy as a horse just hearing this brings me tears of joy

I'm thinking of going to a music event to perform along with other performers. I bought this music score years ago and yet didn't commit to learning it. So I thought I should add it to my repertoire. Nicely played both recorder and flute. The key suits my alto recorder although I think I need to transcribe a few notes as they are lower than what my alto plays on the low registrar. The flute has a nice vibrato with the guitar been very subtle. Well done.

Will sound terrible, the reference, but growing up my father used to watch Benny Hill, and there was one skit with a bum and a girl from a wine poster, but they used this piece to move the skit a long. (It was a speechless, dance number) When I went off to college and began studying music I was thrilled beyond belief when I learned what this piece was and the composer, but I always heard it either for piano or full orchestra, never like I heard it on the show all those years ago. Worse yet finally came across guitar/flute arrangements and none of them every really sounded right. You guys have brought back a memory to me though. One of the first classical pieces I ever heard and fell in love with, and you both sounded wonderful, as one, in tune with each other. Thank you for sharing. It is marked as a favorite page of mine to come back to.
