Great video, please add instructions on how to use the Split function to print a model that is too large for build plate area, how do you keep the other half of the model after you cut group is what i cant figure out.
But why don't I have these options in the side panel like in the video? I can only get to them when I specifically go to set the printer I'm using, then they vanish...I enabled everything in the "View" menu but none of those brought it back.

How to set layer exposure manually for each layer? I want to ensure that the transition between the 40 second bottom layers and standard layers of 2 seconds goes gradually. But after editing the layer exposure manually it doesn't save the settings, but resets to general settings. Please help.
I have a new Photon Mono, but the workshop program downloaded from the memory stick provided only has 3 options for machine types "Photon S, Photon, Photon Zero". In this video "Photon Mono" is listed. Which do I choose? Thanks Which do I choose? Thanks
i have the same problem but you just need to use the earlier version V2.1.26 instead of the V2.1.29

I didn't even know to get the program from the thumb drive @w@ and couldn't find it on their website at all
@@starrlesscreative I spent about 45 minutes digging through the website to finally find the program to download (I think that it was listed waaay down under the product description….. not a user friendly website when it comes to finding the extras you need, just for spending the $$
Photon Mono X 6K under settings - Slice Parameters - Advance Control. What's the difference in the parameters numbered [0] and [1] Each layer control (bottom and Normal seem to have 2 sets of parameters. What's the default. Do I need to have all 4 parameters set?
I save a slice file on the hard drive but when i go to print it doesn’t appear on the printer
Hello. So if Photon Workshop is used to prepare the model, what softwares can we use to make actual models from scratch? Like Blender, Inventor, or any other ones?
yeah blender should be fine and the just export as an STL

@@TheCollectorEddMy guess is that he had an idea, but wanted additional recommendations. For instance, Fusion 360 is what I would recommend over Inventor. It's easier and you don't need all of those Inventor features for a homemade 3d model.
seems outdated? just downloaded it and mine doesnt have slice settings or machine settings.
is there a way to create your own models?
Only works if you can get into the USB drive so you can get the software off of it , also the website isnt showing the link for the software . So here I sit with a brick on the counter that does NOTHING . I regret buying this thing and wish I spent a few more dollars on another brand I was looking at to start with .

@@madmouthmarv5098 Only after they sent me updated software that wasnt on the website link . What they had on the link was outdated . But by the time I finally was able to get it to work( Month or so later) I bought another brand and it worked perfectly out of the box . As it is though this printer is under the bench in the box still as an emergency backup .
How do I change stl to pwo? I'm trying to print but it won't show up on the printer
I had this issue because I downloaded the wrong version off their website. I had to install the photon workshop that came on the USB stick. hopefully that's your problem as well. Good luck!

@@dnafpv I'd contact their support. I think I actually ended up off of Photon Workshop and using CHITUBOX version that support gave me. It's been a while, but definitely recommend reaching out to their support.
Hello I have buy the photon zero and I have stl files I fix it with your program but they dont save it to me in pw0 file and the printer didn't read it. How I can change this ?

How do I ad multiple different objects to the platform and edit them independently?
My printer insists on adding supports instead of printing direct to the base platform, even though the part is flat. Any idea what parameter removes the supports on the base platform? Thanks.
Mine was just updated to the latest new update it's all white now the background and the supports you cannot seem to change from hexagonal now and gives a perforated raft base! It's horrible it's very very very very limited theres actually no point in this slicer it doesn't work for me
I run my computer through my tv. Whenever I open the workshop, I can't see the top bar. How can I reduce the screen size? I have to use the task manager to close the workshop.

hmmm maybe it requires to downloag a more recent version from their website, that's what I did, my printer is a Phothon Mono x.

hello there. i have a material which i want a different exposure time for each layer. for example the first 10 layers should have an exposure time of 2s and the next 10 layers must have an exposure time of 1s.

HELP!! got my photon mono x week ago, been struggling with it. The test file work perfect but i download files from online stl and use the photon workshop to slice it and convert it to pwmx. I load it to the flash drive, flash drive displays correct print i wan to print. hit print, begins to print..hours later should 50, 60, 70% etc but i look at the plate and it has built nothing. I am using the any cubic resin. please help?? what am i doing wrong.

I can't even get mine installed. It keeps flashing OpenGL errors. Saying I need version 2 or higher. I in fact have version 3 installed so I don't get why i am getting this error and the people at Anycubic don't appear to understand English.

@@ANYCUBIC3D I tried with 1.5 of exposure time and 1 sec of off time with 0.02 mm slice...the models are precise but even though they are hollow there is still some uncured resin. Do I go to 2 sec time exp ot 1.5 sec off time?

Hello, add Mono 4K ((383 x 227 x 222 mm) ) printer setting into the Workshop, and don't forget to modify the suffix by pwma when saving the sliced file.

How do I bring my file over to the printer I’ve tried to save it to the usb many different ways and it’s not showing up on my printer.
Are you hitting the little button at the on the left side that looks like a bunch of layers stacked? That's how you actually slice the model and prep it for the printer
@@batingbunnies I actually figured that out after I posted the question. The problem I have now is when I print it doesn’t stick to the platform. It stays in the resin vat and the first couple layers solidify to the bottom. I’m messing with the numbers in the program to see if that’s what was messed up.
Hi, sir, what printer are you using? You can use a USB flash drive. When you buy our printer, the package list includes the USB flash drive. After you slice it, you will get a slice file. You only need to copy it to the USB flash drive. 😊
@@seth1371 Hi, sir, Sir, if the model does not stick to the platform, first, you need to confirm whether the platform is leveled correctly, you can try to level it again. Then you can increase the exposure time of the bottom layer, about 50S-60S, or you can increase the number of printing layers 😊
