Its like in school when you had that one teacher that you knew you could start a topic with and they would basicly just monolog as long as someone pretended to be really in on it to get some minutes off the class or even skip it completely.
I feel like, as I get older, it’s almost like Jack’s content grows with me. I started watching Jack in middle school and here I am watching Jack while my 10 month old takes a nap 😂
Same. I watched Jack for years when I was in middle school and then I just suddenly stopped watching him for like 4 years. I just now came back and I’ve been binging to try to catch up.
As much as this was a "lecture by father Jack" it's on brand. You've matured, you're in a place in life where you CAN give advice, where you CAN correct shitty behavior online *and people will actually listen* and like, as much as I can appreciate the older videos and content before like 2018, I vibe so much better with the content since quarantine club mostly because as Jack has matured and his content is more my speed and my vibe. Not that past content is bad, just that I need to be in a certain mindset and energy to enjoy them properly as they deserve. This type of joke followed by a more serious undertone discussion, is exactly the kind of thing I do and it's nice to see that it can be done well. He sets examples, he sets boundaries, and he isn't afraid to correct us when we are out of line or could do better. That's honestly what you need to keep a subscriber following of almost 28 million in line and this wholesome. He's like a fine wine, only gets better with age 🥰
To be honest, I’m happy that you go on those tangents because as an influential person your voice is more heard and what you say can sometimes really help someone, so thanks Sean
I love how Seán can turn a joke into a serious conversation without it being annoying like a parent does. He always gives genuine advice from his point of view and he never acts like he knows everything. It's so weird how he can do it
Well he isn’t nagging us like parents do so I think that’s why… He’s giving us advice from his heart because he genuinely wants to share the things that helped him, whereas parents bring up serious convos are usually just nagging or just telling us to do something
I have some theories on the “why Jack looks better now” conversation 1) enjoying what you do helps so much with stress. I went from working retail while doing college and living at home, to graduating and getting a dream job and apartment with my boyfriend. My self care was better before because of a less hectic schedule (I work less days but double the amount total) but I’m so much less stressed and overall happier. It’s helped with my anxiety and sleep schedule and it’s only getting better. So I think what jacks saying about the happiness is absolutely true 2) he is afforded a job where he has total control of his schedule (more or less), so he can workout when works for him, eat when he wants to, and sleep when it works for him. So while I prefer a late morning/afternoon workout and it’s what works best for me, that will never work for my current schedule. 3) absolutely the confidence helps. And truly I think there is something to age. I am not the same size as I was at 17, but I feel like I’m much more attractive now despite that fact. Because I’m not as insecure and unsure all of the time. But in no way do I think it’s about money (in jacks situation, because plenty of celebs and influencers absolutely do a shit ton of procedures and stuff)
I like when he goes on tangents and deep talks and gives us his personal opinion or point of view. He's human and an individual too. Its no different then lisening to you're favorite actor. You don't like it, just exit the video. No one is making you continue watching the video you clicked on. If you do like it, you get to keep enjoying his content. Hope he doesn't stop being true to who he is 👌
*Sean:* "It's tone deaf when people say that money can't buy happiness" *Me:* _literally lying in bed trying to spend time passively, so as to conserve energy, so that I don't need as many meals before this week's paycheck_ " 😂😅 Jackaboy ain't never lied! "
This is what I love about Sean. With age comes wisdom, which Father Jack preaches. But at the same time, whenever I feel his excitement with games like with GoW4 (BTW one of my favorite games series as well) and teardown, it reverts me back to a little kid all over again and I love that feeling. Keep going Jack, for every hater, just know there are 3 supporters ready just waiting to see what happens next. And just thank you for being your weird, awesome self.
I appreciate deeply that youtubers credit their editors. They put in a ton of work on the backend that shapes the entire experience. I always love seeing their work aside from the video I'm watching. Lixian, Vincent, Sive, and many more have created some amazing work and we appreciate them!
The editing in this video was perfect, nothing too crazy, just a normal, cozy feeling lol Edit: wow, didn't think that this many people would see this 😶 But the other editors' editing wasn't bad though, everyone has their own style but maybe add the animations/effects at certain moments where maybe the joke feels like it needs a bit more explanation or narrative or somethin... Not critisizing anyone, just my opinion :)
i love the honesty with the 'money doesnt buy happiness' discussion. someone who is successful and preaches this always forgets what its like for people that constantly worry about money. Like yes money does take a lot of stress off you, either by taking care of some of your problems that you couldnt afford before, or just like you said, it giving you time to take care of yourself. most days i struggle to drink enough water, let alone do a 15 step night skin routine. Yet these rich people have been 'enlightened' by how their wealth doesnt fulfil them the way they thought it would. i feel like 'money doesnt buy happiness' is a very privileged statement that very few people can actually say. and its nice that jack realizes this despite his success and tries to level with people that don't have it. very respectful. thank you
I can totally agree with this. Yes, money can't buy happiness but it sure as hell can make life less worrisome and give me the space to relax and find happiness! For someone rich, who has been rich their whole life wouldn't understand that they have more than enough, and by having more than enough they have a greater thirst to satisfy and so they buy stuff that only brings short term satisfaction. So of course "money doesn't buy happiness". But someone that doesn't come from a family with money can understand that every single kid that grew up with just enough money HATES this saying. Whenever I hear "money doesn't buy happiness" I think of all the things I could do with money to make others and myself happy: Have a car! Grandma is getting old and she can't walk everywhere. Be able to buy things we like when we see them. Be able to buy shoes more than once a year or every two years. Donate! Oh, how much you could donate! Gifts for everyone!! Oh, are you struggling with affording food for your kids? Let me help you! I don't have to worry about leaving the fan on for more than 3 hours bc of the electricity bill anymore! Hey girls! I'm treating you all to dinner! There's a very interesting ted talk about this saying that goes "if momey doesn't buy yo happiness then you aren't spending it right"
I also think that if you have money you can buy stuff that makes you happy like games some people can't buy games because they can get expensive and they want to save or travel to countries that they always dreamt of visiting, and have the feeling of "success" which is probably one of the most things that makes you happy
Honestly, "Father Jack" isn't even that much of a joke anymore lmao. I started watching you when I was about 6/7, and I was an absolute *shithead* back then. I'm 15 now. And tbh, most of my morals came from the internet, it raised me more than any of my family. I'm grateful for it, since my family didn't have the best morals, but it was also quite the slippery slope thing. It could've gone either "edgy shithead" or "wholesome normal person". And I'm so glad Sean was the UA-camr I stumbled across and used to learn English lmao. You sorta made sure I ended up a better person. Thanks.
eeeey I'm glad I'm not the only person who managed to get fluent in English because of watching Sean Started watching when I was around 12-13 years old 21 now Sean has taught me more English than school ever has lmao (hello from Germany btw :D)
I love when you start talking about "real" stuff - you do it in a way that gives your opinion without being like "this is my opinion and therefore it's right"; you're always really humble. One thing that a lot of the commenters mean when they write stuff like "you're rich which is why you can look good" is sometimes true in small ways not everyone necessarily realizes. For example, if your poor, you can't always afford to take time off to go see a doctor, or have the money to afford anti-depressants or anti-anxiety medication, which can make it a lot harder to take care of yourself. If you're exhausted because of mental health issues or even just the side effects of medication that you can't easily go to a doctor for to adjust a lot, taking care of yourself falls on the back burner, or eating right. Eating right is another huge factor in "looking good" - if you're too exhausted all the time, it's harder to make healthy meals but takeout is expensive so you get the cheapest kind. Or you go to Walmart and you buy a bunch of frozen diners that won't expire if you don't have the energy to cook it within a couple of days. As an example for myself, my apartment has a tiny shower, and because I'm so claustrophobic, washing myself is extremely paralyzing and difficult, so I'll often do what I can with a washcloth or just take a quick bath to wash up (bathtub and shower are separate), but it's the only apartment I can afford. If you don't sleep well because the neighbors make a ton of noise, and moving isn't an option, that's another factor. Or don't sleep well because your mattress is too old but you can't afford a new one. So it's all cumulative things that, if someone was rich, those would mostly be solved or at least would be easier to deal with. Does it make people happier? I'd say yes, to a base level, but true happiness is within as well. In this world, we kinda need both.
That's true and idk if you wrote it to explain it to him or agree with him, but if you didn't realize what Jack was saying is in line with what you wrote
Everyone else: "why are you watching UA-cam instead of getting help?" Jacksepticeye fans: listening to sean give encouragement and love while watching memes "DO NOT JUDGE THE ALMIGHTY SEPTICEYE"
I love how these videos went from a “TOP OF THE MORNING EVERYBODY” over the top Irish man to a TED talk about anxiety and depression with just a little hint of memes. Still love you though Jack
Jack is an amazing example of someone who grew with their audience. I think a large majority of Jack's fan base have been on the channel for a long time. Most of us finding Jack's channel in middle school. We grew with him and he, 10 years later, is still someone we can relate too. That's why we all still love him ❤
I don't know about everyone else, but meme time kind of feels like an evolution of "reading your comments" series. It really allows sean to get more personal and show a bit behind the curtain.
Jack's talk about finding inner happiness really opened my eyes to why i wasn't feeling great, and i can tell that its definitely gonna help in future, thanks so much jack and who says that watching UA-cam cant solve problems? 💀
If it weren't for youtube and the content I found and watched back in 2013 I doubt I'd still be here tbh Some of that stuff has seriously helped me to figure things out about myself and it has taught me English (my native tongue is German)
One thing I would like to say about “swearing” on UA-cam. People need to understand that swearing generally isn’t bad, unless it’s projected towards someone specifically in a mean way (like telling someone to go f themself). I believe VSauce even did a video on it, and how swear words aren’t actually “bad” and how society treated those words that way due to class differences. If it’s not projected towards someone in a mean way, they’re just words
heck yeah if i stub my toe in public i'm not just going to will the swears away like a Buddha or something the only thing the swears are directed at is the pain in my toe and the table that committed the crime
@@tetronadionoxide5275 Fun fact: there's some psychological evidence that cursing when you feel sudden pain, a la stubbing a toe, actually helps reduce the pain more than yelling non-curse words! So fuck that table all day long! Wait... no... that was phrased weird and I rescind it and replace it with something that's better communicated.
Hey Jack I know this will almost definately get lost in the comments but I wanted to say that through the years of enjoying your content you among others have helped shape myself and people I know into healthier and happier people than we would be without your influence.
It is SO NICE hearing someone who has found financial success acknowledge that, while money doesn't buy happiness persay, it sure helps. People that have money tend to have this weird ideal that it has nothing to do with their comfort.
We all cried in unison…. Our tears watered the earth… our cries shook the ground… and our silence brought peace to a new era…. And then Covid happened and ruined everything
Can we all just stop to appreciate the fact that Jack is actually going almost daily with content again?! Love it, glad your back ti feeling daily again.

Jack: "no one loses their dog to bringing them out to battle and having them die in a valiant effort" My first Minecraft dog ever dying heroically while saving me from an angry ender man in my house: Hold my bone
i think my dog just died in the void after I stopped playing minecraft in like 2014 because I didn't have a computer anymore lol Did pick it back up again a few months ago tho :D
@@bloodygames I'm not sure if you know this already, but here are two tricks. 1: hit the Enderman or look at it, then run under an area that's only two blocks high, then fight the Endermab from there without getting hit. 2: Provoke the Endetman and run into water, then kill it from there
i love that my 2 favorite sides of jack are: extremely nonsensical and loud irish gibberish; and philosophical big brother going on about his life experiences
Editors like robin and Lixan and all of them and any editor honestly are the biggest blessing to UA-cam. They make funny content even funnier. Thank ya editors!!!!! And thanks creators for giving them the content to edit into the amazing masterpieces they become
14:18 I have to say that as an editor myself... this one warms my heart so much. I'm honestly grateful that more people are recognizing the hard work it takes to be an editor. -^_^- Thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Jack should try it and have some guest hosts to chat with every session. And also have a fan line where they call random fans that are tuned in so the fans can join the chat.
its nice to see the awareness that Seán has for monetary importance and its correlation to "happiness" to not have to worry about medical care, food, housing, and even the ability to have a little fun with money does increase happiness by decreasing stress. people deserve to do more than just survive they deserve to live and its hard with financial constraints which dictate so much of how you must conduct yourself. even after gaining financial and monetary success it is really refreshing to hear Seán not be condescending about wealth, rather he's realistic and encouraging
"Money cannot buy happiness, but it definitely can support it." is the term I'd use better. Same explanation, far simpler and precise message. Still love your Meme videos! They always bring a smile to my face.
Prince (RIP) said it best "Money wont buy you happiness, but it'll pay for the search". Altho, all I could think about was how much did his setup cost that helps him look better too - which he didnt mention at all.
@@prototype0237 Not really. Seeing as how support and enable are literal synonyms and your complaing my term is bad and yet theirs isn't? Mine was meant to be short. There's always that one truculent edgy person. At least you tried. 1/10 for the attempt.

Lixian, Sive, and Robin are all fantastic editors. Personally my favorite is Lixian because of how he implements his own animated character as almost like a vital part of the video, coming in at scary, funny, or stupid moments to make the video just so much better. Sive and Robin are also just in general fantastic at what they do.
Geez. Time flies doesn't it? I've always looked up to you as an idol to me, Sean. From your days of trying to hide your accent, then embracing it, then moving onto screaming to the top of your lungs then to now, someone who still tries to yell as much a possible, but very quieter. To me, nothing has changed. Your still the energetic, happy-go-lucky irish guy on UA-cam who makes me smile everyday, even at your worst, you still try to make us smile and happy. We love you (platonically) and everything you do! Everyone in this community loves you and appreciates what you do! It makes me proud to see how far you've come and how far your going to go in the future! I feel like I grew up besides you and you've helped me through some horrible times in my life. Thank you. Someday, I wish to meet you and when the day comes, everything in my life will be achieved. :)
Been noticing Jack has been downplaying his own struggles lately by playing them of (laughing them off) by saying "my life's very difficult" I hope your ok Jack, you are allowed to feel your struggles, no struggle is a small struggle, just because you have a better life then you use to or then other may does not mean your struggles are any less valid, effort and motivation to do this affect many and you should talk to your psychiatrist about accepting and validating your self more, your amazing, you don't need to be perfect, you can have down days, moments, months, just as long as you keep trying 😊 love ya, PMA

people with lower incomes statistically show higher rates of things like obesity and dental problems. your access to money has enabled you to have a personal trainer, time to work out, equipment, organic healthy food, Healthcare, and even tools to make your teeth look better. money IS connected to conventional appearances!
You can have healthy food and exercise for cheap. Lower income can equal lower happiness, which can equal health problems. That does not make money a prerequisite for health, and therfore appearance, it means health is easier when you are happy. Poor people can be happy
@@CottonyAlmonds while that's technically true, social statistics show that lower income people have lower health literacy rates due to the fact that lower income communities lack health programs, proficient medical professionals, etc so low income people, despite having the ABILITY to live healthy lives, lack the educational and social resources others have. even if one has a local store that has cheap, organic fruits and veg, they might not even know about calories, nutritional needs, risks of obesity, etc etc.
@@CottonyAlmonds and poor people can absolutely be happy. many are. but being poor is directly related to one's health and all the research in fields like sociology show this

Sean, I have an idea... Maybe, at the end of every Meme Time, you give the audience a theme or subject, something that they can focus on and have it be the theme of the next video. Obviously not all of what will be posted will be related to said theme, but it gives the audience/posters something to focus on when they're making memes and posting it to the subreddit. Obviously it doesn't have to be a subject/theme, but you can always give everyone a direction to work towards, so the next, and each subsequent Meme Time's you do are slightly different. This is obviously just an idea that I tossed out there and you can change, bend and mold it to whatever you want it to be, but I think that doing something similar to this would help keep things fresh and new. If anyone agrees, please like this comment so it may be seen by Sean easier. If you want to add your own ideas, go ahead, respond to this and chime in. As I said: this is just my 2¢, but I think it can keep things constantly changing so Sean doesn't constantly keep seeing the same few things over and over and over again. 💜
I didn't know today's Meme Time was the therapy sessions I really needed while I'm going through probably the lowest point in my life right now lol. I love how Seán can turn a joke into a serious conversation without it being annoying like a parent does. He always gives genuine advice from his point of view and he never acts like he knows everything. It's so weird how he can do it
Humility perhaps? :)
Well he isn’t nagging us like parents do so I think that’s why… He’s giving us advice from his heart because he genuinely wants to share the things that helped him, whereas parents bring up serious convos are usually just nagging or just telling us to do something

@Deutschland Über Alles yeah and the dude in your picture committed suicide
Yes.yes. We must fix this
I have some theories on the “why Jack looks better now” conversation
1) enjoying what you do helps so much with stress. So I think what jacks saying about the happiness is absolutely true
2) he is afforded a job where he has total control of his schedule (more or less), so he can workout when works for him, eat when he wants to, and sleep when it works for him.
What
I have thought this for years! I'm so glad to see someone else does too!

i love the honesty with the 'money doesnt buy happiness' discussion. someone who is successful and preaches this always forgets what its like for people that constantly worry about money. Like yes money does take a lot of stress off you, either by taking care of some of your problems that you couldnt afford before, or just like you said, it giving you time to take care of yourself. most days i struggle to drink enough water, let alone do a 15 step night skin routine. Yet these rich people have been 'enlightened' by how their wealth doesnt fulfil them the way they thought it would. i feel like 'money doesnt buy happiness' is a very privileged statement that very few people can actually say. and its nice that jack realizes this despite his success and tries to level with people that don't have it. very respectful. thank you
Also the saying refers to the fact that solely having money by itself is not fulfilling.
Whenever I hear "money doesn't buy happiness" I think of all the things I could do with money to make others and myself happy:
Have a car!
There's a very interesting ted talk about this saying that goes "if momey doesn't buy yo happiness then you aren't spending it right"
I see the phrase as a type of propaganda to keep people complacent in where they are.
@@disturbed_puppy it's used that way a lot now. You're spot on.
So the summary of Sean’s quote is “money doesn’t buy happiness but it does buy comfort.”
Hooollyyy crap this is a whole essay…. And I love it
There is a lot of wisdom im those words
That's true and idk if you wrote it to explain it to him or agree with him, but if you didn't realize what Jack was saying is in line with what you wrote

I know it’s kinda obvious right I don’t know why Sean kinda made it sound like it was a debatable thing

great idea!
Amazing
His laugh is so heartwarming like think of every other loud UA-camr jack is the only one of the few that had an impact on all of us
I didn't know today's Meme Time was the therapy sessions I really needed while I'm going through probably the lowest point in my life right now lol. I know everyone says this, but THANK YOU Sean for all you do and your positivity and love you put out into the world, I know you've touched my life among so many others. And of course, as you mentioned, thank you to Robin and all editors who make it possible to have this amazing and uplifting highlight of my day possible on such a regular basis. Stay strong Sean and fight on!
you are loved and valued, i hope everything gets better for you soon
Too optimistic imo
I feel like Meme Time is becoming a template to give Jack topics to go on passionate lectures for.
I mean it replaced “reading your comments” which had Sean do the same thing every so often. I think this is just his way of interacting with us or bonking us.
I'm a very new subscriber, it's been one year now and the journey has been great and honestly I feel so guilty about not giving you a chance before. Your videos have made me smile, I love how caring and brave you are, and I feel so welcome here in this community. I have mostly watched your newer videos, some green hair videos, and a few videos that are older and honestly I love all of them! But I love how you've been growing up and you have are an inspiration to us all. Thank you for everything Jack, you should be very proud of the person you've become. I hope to continue this amazing journey with you and the community!
I'm so happy you talked about crediting video editors! I actually discover new UA-camrs that way. When I find a video that's edited so nicely, I look for who they credit as their editor, I look through that editor's UA-cam to see what their style is like.
I edit my videos, because I don't want to credit editors! JK... I wish I had an editor :'(
Oh snap, you do the edits yourself?
I could've sworn you had an editor, but either way good work man.
yoooo electroboom watches sean
Hey Mehdi! Good to know you're still alive.
I'm an editor I'd legit do it for free
I WILL EDIT FOR YOU SIR
Jacks’ Channel is literally one of the best things to exist in my life. Honestly this mans energy is so uplifting and has constantly helped me get through of a lot shit my life. Thank you for existing Sean.

that lecture towards the end about happiness really made me think about how unhappy i really am and i think it’s mostly because i’ve always struggled with being happy in my own skin and i’m constantly putting others before myself, but hearing this makes me want to change my perspective on life and just find as he said what makes me happy. Thank you for that Seán:)
Thats deep
This video IS the meme, its 28 minutes, 18 are FUCKING LECTURES. JACK!
Sean: "I don't speak Polish. Do any of you speak Polish?"
Me: "And finally, when we did start speaking, he only spoke polish and I only knew like three words in Polish except now I know four cause Oscar taught me the word for lip, 'Oosta' "
(I do not know how to spell it but still)
You can try spell it like this:
Oo
stah
just say it together :)
“Your friends all laughed… Oosta”
And now I know 1 word in Polish.. which I will promptly forget once I leave this video.
its spelled usta, our u has a short oo sound
@@jagodafi2104 It's more like WRITTEN like this but it won't help those who speak English in how to pronounce it correctly
I love Jack no matter what content he puts out. Sure his videos in the past are great, but every person changes over time and so does the content. I can always respect that. And even most times you'll fund something funny
@РЕЙД ОТ САУНДА!!!!! more like god if sh!t content
@РЕЙД ОТ САУНДА!!!!! Douchetuber alert
"money doesnt buy hippieness" is literally only ever said by people with money, its like those that say "looks don't matter" are always beautiful
Honestly, feels that way
Neverending debate
I agree money can buy happiness just depends on how you spend it
@@astr0liam343 no joke, literally all of my problems can be fixed with money, worst part is its not even a lot of money I'd need (comparitivly like it's a lot to me lol)
money makes u happy but its not the ultimate prize tw
Fron 17:48 to 22:51, how Jack was monologuing just made me so happy? Because just hearing him take about things like that makes me feel inspired also more focused, I like writing Storys and just have any of your vids to listen to and Wach, it amazing.
i love how jack isn't afraid of making a deep conversation, it's very insipiring and very helpful so thank you!
Jack: No one loses their dog by breaking them into battle and having them die in valiant effort.
RIP to Paul (CallMeKevin’s dog) who died fighting in a village raid.
Rip techoblade's hundreds of dogs who died fighting the government
"Money is a very externally wealthy thing to have"
Damn Jack be spittin' facts
Jack is not on a high hoarse, he’s sharing his hoarse of happiness with everyone else 😊❤️ thank you seán
hoarse
you mean horse?
I love when Sean finds a piece of fanart that he loves and he really spends time looking at it and commenting on it, I'm sure the artists feel really seen and appreciated
Seeing you grow as a person, and mature, was an interesting process. You're amazing Seán, there is not many people on this platform so kindhearted and genuinely funny like you. Also, I LOVE that you're not afraid to speak up and set boundaries if needed! :-D
Agreed!
I like how Sean gives us a whole philosophical speech inspired by two pictures of cats
i love the amount of just rambling on and on it's very comforting
