uh oh wow... It was long, wasn't it? I was thinking about this song for nrmt about a year already huh. But I didn't have time or resources to make it, not to mention my life was kinda messy for a while. I really glade I'm able to make it now tho!
I endlessly love ace attorney games and narumitsu. Those idiots means the world to me I don't know how to express it better than this. So it's my another long love letter for the game and fandom in general

This is an absolutely tiny detail, but i love the fact that Edgeworth saying he's "defenseless" takes on so much more meaning since Phoenix is literally the defense

Honestly, the game is pretty enjoyable no matter if you ship these two together or not. I haven't seen full gameplays myself (I enjoy summaries, animatics and experiencing the source material myself much more), but whenever I wanted to see a case play out and still hadn't bought the game, I remember watching Game Grumps and ProZD. There's Wrightworth jokes all over the place in those lmao

I cannot even begin to fathom how much work must have been put into this video. There is so much I loved about it! Edgeworth being super stubborn and in denial was so spot on! You made this man so silly yet angsty and I adore that. 😂
I love how you drew Edgeworth during the events of the first game! He’s so snarky, petty and surprisingly expressive! The way he “puts down” Phoenix was so funny and cute to watch especially when you know what comes next! I loved your characterisation of Edgeworth during this part so much! THE UNNECESSARY FEELINGS? HOW EVERYONE WAS CONFUSED DURING THAT SCENE?? AHAHHAA
I could clearly see how Edgeworth felt during the seven year gap, sadness and despair along with an overbearing sense of loss, which was cleverly done in blues to portray how trying and emotionally draining this time was for both of them.
During this video you can really see just how big of an impact Phoenix made on this man's life! How he finally made Miles feel something good again and began to fix Miles's self deprecating tendencies and unwillingness to forgive himself! He really changed Miles for the better! I love how he becomes more honest with his feelings in the later parts of the video! Phoenix, you really made this man fall so hard for you!!

I got the AA trilogy because I'd seen it on some lists of great games and I thought I'd enjoy it - had no idea of the plot beyond the "OBJECTION" spiky guy and the fact that the characters would be over the top. I'm like "omg this Edgeworth guy is such a tryhard dickwad I hate him", and then by the last case of the first game I had to laugh at myself because the game had made me invested in him and in the (surprisingly sexual) tension that had developed between Phoenix and him. Caught me off guard. So in essence, you came for the gay, stayed for the game, and for me it was visa versa lol

okay, but I would like you to know that not only this song extremely fitting for their whole storyline, the words and phrasing feeling very organic for the characters, as in they could pull off saying it in canon; the animatic itself beautifully made, and I love your art style, seemingly so effortless in how much emotion it actually manages to convey with how laconic it is; *BUT* also what is more, hadn't it been for your video to show up in my YT recs, i would probably never learn about what a wonderful fandom AA is, and well, i've been exploring it (and the wrightworth ship & general relationship) for the past week. And i can't really express how much i love it, and how very special your animatic is to me because of all this.

In all seriousness, this is yet another masterpiece! :D I saw many great Narumitsu animatics (because I love these two), but you are among the couple of artists that really stand out for me! The way you are able to convey the way the characters are feeling and piece all of these scenes and moments together is just spectacular! I'm still beyond impressed with how you were able to weave the story into the music!
Love the way you drew Miles throughout the first minute, he really acts and looks like a pompous snob, it's a great contrast to how he looks later.
Perfect summary of JLA, but this frame (2:23) right after killed me xD
2:31 - This one is just beautiful.
2:39-2:49 - The rising tempo, the events leading up to it and then the fall of the chest piece and that frame of Kristoph is just... damn, I just love the storytelling here.
3:07 - The way the singer's voice breaks at the first line fits so well :,) You can really feel Miles' regret throughout that entire monologue.
4:19 - And yeah, I mean, this scene is great too. Give me all the frames of Miles being happy (6:20)
