I prefer oppo. That's more natural and has more features (one inch sensor, 65 mm tele with imx 890, 6x dark tele). I can always install a GCam mod, moreover, I find the Oppo a better phone overall
It's funny to me that Pixel has worse processing overall than Chinese phone manufacturers. Chinese phones were considered to be "overdone" or "trying too hard" in the past. They were stigmatized and now that's exactly what Apple, Samsung and Google do whereas Chinese phones keep it natural or stylized. Goes to show complacency is always bad. Like take a look at the 2x shots. Google is trying too hard and Oppo's just chilling
I prefer Pixel and its because of the day to day features no other company is giving and thats the calling features, call screen, hold for me, messaging features, the music features that always is listening, it just flows in my day to day life that just works for me, the cameras and its features are just a plus after everything else, i still hate that they dont give proper fast charging, or an ir blaster, even the headphone jack as well as expandable memory, which would be great considering these phones can record videos in 4k and 8k and take up so much memory.
Oppo x7 ultra, Vivo X100 pro, Vivo x100 ultra, Xiaomi 14 ultra, Samsung s24 ultra, pixel 9 pro xl, iPhone 15 pro max... What's the best camera in your opinion?
I haven't had the chance to use the x100 ultra but I will... soon enough... at the moment I think it's the xiaomi 14 ultra mainly coz of the log n master cinema video... also Leica authentic is bae😂
Let me tell u something.. why people like pictures from pixel so much? It's about the color science a pixel produced. My niece have pixel 6a when it compares with s24 ultra people prefer the pixel photos more. S24 ultra have more clarity, more details and there is no visible noise but pixel less clarity and looks grainy in low light. I zoom in and show them pixel is not that great in details but they say it still looks good. That's how I came to agreed that pixel colors Science is what people draw more towards pixel camera. Even in this comparison I like the color science of pixel more. I don't own any of the phone mentioned above . S24 ultra is from my friend and currently i am using OnePlus 9rt
I agree... most people do prefer the pixel look... but I guess my preferences are a little outta pocket coz I really like low sat, really natural color tones and very high contrast... no wonder I like Leica authentic from the xiaomi 14 ultra so damn much😂
Basically, people prefer pixel pictures because it's the epitome of just point and shoot. A lot of people don't like to move goal posts when it comes down to cameras. We like to take out our pocket, point it at the subject, press the shutter button, and that's it. And that's the Pixel phone experience when it comes down to the cameras.
Google takes shots people will like more, Oppo and others tend to take shots that are either stylized/dramatic (Leica Authentic, Vivo's vintage filter/Textured mode) or realistic. A friend of mine has the Pixel 7 and I tried it and now I hate youtube tech reviewers, they all said it was supposed to be natural looking when it's anything but. The gcam port on my S22 Ultra has natural looking shots. I'm the kind of person who likes to have control, and I think having a natural looking shot as a base and then being able to put in filters is the way to go and why Chinese phones and iPhones work. Nearly everyone uses Vivid filter on iPhones. At least everyone I know irl, friends, class mates, family, etc.
For me, the S24 Ultra is better as a photophone and simply as a smartphone. The Pixel 9 Pro XL is not bad, it's even very good, but, as I always say and contrary to what people say and think, Pixels do not necessarily have a natural colorimetry, they just have a constant colorimetry and white balance, very often pleasant , but not necessarily natural. Ps: the only thing that for me, all manufacturers should have in photo-video, the "Dual Exposure" of the old Pixels, and the "Photographic Style" of the iPhones, these 2 features are so underrated, and yet, they are game changers.
Just like the iPhone is no longer the best smartphone in video 📹, the Pixel is no longer the best smartphone in photos 📸, but, people want to convince other people to put $1200 in this mid-range smartphone, because it has a "G" logo on the back, and it's supposedly super "optimized", pff 🤦🏽♂️
Hey Google can't properly work on oppo's device, neither android auto and android wear. However if oppo release a global rom for x7 ultra will be a no brain deal breaker. Camera, battery, raw performance and materials are way ahead of any device right now

Google has sucked ever since the Pixel 6 Pro days, the Pixel 2 was their greatest phone I'd sy
@@kaiserfakinaway5909 it depends on Pixel user

can u also show us 5x human photos without portrait mode
so that we can see how good is pure sensor blur
it's gonna be close to Xiaomi's one, judging by size and aperture. Think 10-20% less shallow DoF compared to the 14 Ultra.
@@kaiserfakinaway5909 might my
but xiaomi 14 ultra has insane and beautiful natural blur in 5x
oppo obliterates the pixel in everyway
shocker, i know.

I'm gonna stick with my Pixel 4a until next year. I plan to get the 10 Pro XL and I can't wait!!

the issues with android auto can be fixed with a cheap, external device. Android wear works with some watches.
oh and btw the 3x looks a bit worse on the Oppo because it's not a 3x, it's a 2.8x that gets cropped to 3x haha!
There's a typo in the description of the vid, "...against the Pixel 7 Pro XL."
Thanks... fixed it👍
Hidden truth🤭
compare it against the vivo x100u or pro
the sunglasses don't fit your face shape; I'd explore other options
