Stew mac makes a higher quality replacement bridge for Casinos for about 30 bucks but when I had my Casino set up, the Luthier found that my switch was the source of the buzz and sure enough...in the middle position it vibrates...apparently there are two prongs that you can press slightly more together and eliminate this problem but I'll probably just replace the switch....the other thing I learned was to reverse the G string saddle for better intonation and also highly recommend a bone nut replacement....great guitars
Cool tip finding the string remnant. The switch is the one that really gets me. I just removed the spring on my Gretsch. Maybe some tape to make it through a string change? we'll see
I had a mega rattke with that crappy bridge on my casino coupe. Order a Gibson Les Paul bridge ( in black with black tail piece). But i had to drill bigger holes for the bushings ( metric vs imperial) . Done. No more rattle. I love my epiphone, but the problem is, the wood part, frets, fret board etc are perfect. But every hardware parts, electronics, tuners, are so freaking cheap!! I ended up changing everything on it. Still way cheapet then buying the es-330.
ABM bell brass bridge and tail piece are awesome. But they ring so true and are so resonant it vibrated solder points on the pickups loose. OMG it was the worst sound ever. End up pulling out the guts and playing it like an acoustic. Lol. Have to redo the electronics.
The Epi bridge is crap so are the Posts First thing I’m going to change The oversea spacing makes my fingers get tangled on the board And change to better spacing Then do the Pups The MIC guitars are OK But bridge hardware Crap

Bridge, nut, Tailgate, Tuners all replaced. No buzz. The electrics and pickups seems fine
A tech I know has the same problem with an artists guitar. So the tried an Evertune bridge. Now the guitar ids called nevertune.
