@ShinenAkuma The Edwards and Getzen have different spacing in the bell bracing. Also the Edwards has edge bracing and the Getzen does not. Otherwise they are very similar in comparison.
I purchased a second hand Shires bass trombone. It has a dual axial flow, independent valve system. I have tried to open it to clean it similar to the way that Ron showed in the tenor thayer valve video, but the F valve doesn't seem to come apart. It stays in once piece and there seems to be no way to service the rotor inside. I know that you probably only answer questions about Edwards instruments, but if you know if there is any way to separate the valve to clean it, could you tell me?
Enjoy!!!!

I tried slide oil on my Yamaha Tenor Trombone and it work for me on the F-Trigger.
