Thanks mate, great ride! Easy riding and having great time. I love to do a scoot walking! That's the best. You ride from place to place and walk with the scooter by holding your hand in the steering pole. I ride to some great scenery spot like a bridge and I start walking with the scooter. In our town we have great places to walk. I usually walk about 5000 to 10000 steps per a scooter ride. Lightweight scooter is the best for walking with. I hate walking, nothing happens, but I love scooter walking. Night and day difference!
Great Video thank you so much. I was thinking of the Horizon for myself too. It's got allot of positives, the Thumb Throttle, light weight and decently fast. I ended up going with a Speedway Leger. Haven't got it yet, just crossing my fingers.
I have the Emove Touring. I just love it. It is also nimble and portable. My scooter range is affected by the cold weather. I can't wait until the weather heats up.
The Touring seems to be a great scooter, I've never tried it but I want to. If you ask me nibleness is one of the most underrated features in a scooter. Hope your weather heats up for you soon. Thanks for watching. Scoot Scoot!
I have this scooter no lie the same one it’s amazing low care. Good speed and power for the price it’s amazing I have 2k miles on mine it will last and does not need a lot of care to keep it running
I bought the upgraded battery version after watching your video about a year ago, as I needed a longer roundtrip range. I currently still own a regular bicycle helmet, which does not afford me "Face Plant Protection" as does a motorcycle helmet. The model you present in this video please?

Hello I recently purchased an rollgood electric scooter it was similar looking to the herzion the battery messed up twice in the 2 months of me having it … dose this scooter have any battery problems or any problems at all .. I’m tryna use it for UberEats wonder if it would be durable for it
Hi, I do consider the Horizon durable. However, I would question whether it has enough range and size for food deliveries. I do not have any problems with the scooter and have over 1,200 miles on it. How much range do you think you would need to work a productive food delivery shift? If it is over 10-15 miles this scooter would likely not fit for that purpose.
Yes, I can tell that at around 8 mph there is a bit more torque, slow start off the line. Conversely, I think this is part of why the horizon lives up to expectations for range, but I'm just guessing.
@@scootscootpev2761 Is it slow-slow or does the "after" torque feel potent out of the gate? I have an EcoReco L5+ with similar power and range. My scooter has quite a torque rich motor with no delay. It's more of a linear power delivery rather than a big burst after x mph.
@@chasem8491 I would not call it "slow-slow". However, I usually kick scoot decently hard off the line, which if I didn't it would feel slower. Since you have another scooter to compare it to you will probably notice it. After 8 mph you can feel a bit extra. It is not something that really impacts my ride, but if I'm looking for speed I use my larger dual motor scooter.

Hey scoot, genuine question. Do you know when you are and aren't allowed to ride on a sidewalk ? I thought I read that in CA we have to be in a bike lane at ALL times. And you have to wear a helmet if you are under 18 correct?
Good questions. My understanding is unless signs are posted not allowing motorized vehicles scooters can go on the sidewalks. However, I think each city can vary with their rules for scooters on sidewalks. There are some gray areas when it comes to how scooters and other PEVs are treated on the road. As for the helmet, I'm a safety nerd and do not mess around, so I'm am always wearing a helmet no matter what the law is.
About 13 miles, semi hilly ride too. I have the 10.4 Ah version. I foolishly did this test when the scooter was rather new, I say foolishly because it was risky to the battery. Luckily it did not break my battery.
@@nyyankeesandlalakers Yes, full power, and again some hills too. In my experience the difference from riding in gear 2, instead of gear 3, gets you so much more range. I would guess on flat ground in gear 2 you will get over 15 miles of range. Probably closer to 20 miles, but depends on type of riding of course. These days I will climb all hills in gear 2 or 1, then ride in gear 3 for when not on a hill.
“Don’t ruin scooters for everyone else” says the guy riding his scooter on sidewalks when there’s a bike lane right next to him lol can anyone explain to me how not wearing a helmet ruins scooters for everyone else?
In terms of riding on the sidewalk, I thought it was safer than the road in that section - pretty sure the bike lane was a shared lane with vehicles. Plus, it is not against the rules to ride the sidewalk there. Why would that be unsafe as you implied? As for the helmet, I guess if you have to ask you will never know. We live in a society where safety, or perceived safety is highly valued. The same reason there are helmet laws for motorcycles and bicyclists is the same reason I say wear a helmet or put electric scooters at risk for everyone. The laws for PEVs have not really been worked on yet and keeping a positive light on PEVs by being safe means a higher chance that we can continue to ride just about anywhere legally. Thanks for watching.
@@scootscootpev2761 makes no sense at all. Lots of states don’t have helmet laws for motorcycles. Zero states have helmet laws for bicycles. These scooters are regulated the same as bicycles.
