This is exactly what i need. Your channel is a golden mine for any pianist who aimes to be a songwriter or composer. Your way of teaching is perfect. You’re a life-changer teacher. Hope you make it to 100k subs really soon!!!!
Wow !!! Thank you so very much !!!😊 Hours of practice and you make it so much fun. I love the sounds it makes. Very grateful for all you are doing for us. 🙏🙏🙏 If possible, I dare to ask... would it be possible to have the backing track ? It is beautiful and feels like playing songs. Thank you again. ❤
Great lesson, while I'm not a beginner I will definitely need some time to practise these arps with the most common chord progressions! Thank you very much! I don't want to sound rude, but would it be possible to provide a free PDF of these patterns? It's quite a hassle to create a collection of screenshots of these patterns.
Hi, I have already made a video on fills and runs applied to a chord progression here: ua-cam.com/video/qzSSh1DTXws/v-deo.html Glad you like my channel 🙂
Thanks Arthur, good one:) A question: My hands are not big and I have difficulty on playing the block chords with all 4 fingers pressed. It works with some chords, and with some others not - especially with ones in which you have black as well as white notes. Now, I think a workaround could be to play the 1, 3 and 1 again - so omit the 5. I know from other cases that the 5 could be omitted since it doesn’t really make too much difference in terms of sound (whereas the 1, 3 and in 7th chords the 7 does. Thus the concept of chord shells for example…) Would that work? What do you think? Or would you another suggestion like 1-5-1 for example? Tia:)
Hi Ozgur, it depends on the style and type of sound you are going for. But the 1, 3, 7 is certainly a good work around, especially for Jazz and Blues styles. 1,5,1 would be more optimal for rock and pop styles of piano. I hope this helps. :)
@BirdsPianoAcademy yes it does, thanks! So my initial thought of using 1-3-1 was not correct. I'll try the 1-5-1 with your workouts and also in the pattern of "Your Song" / Elton John. I think he uses block chords before arpeggiating the notes as well.
@@BirdsPianoAcademy I come across it the other day, and love and behold my little finger is now hitting the octave notes, but definitely relaxing the hands make things achievable. But appreciate your videos 👍
Here is the sheet music (for FREE) for anyone that may find it helpful: bit.ly/7-Arpeggio-Patterns-for-Piano-Chords
