Dr Sue Johnson never ceases to amaze me. This 6 minute video encapsulates the heart of being "safe and sound" in a couple relationship - emotional responsiveness and emotional presence. What was particularly clarifying of this core concept was the example she gave of the couple upset about one leaving for a trip. Instead of a fight about it, there was understanding and a connection - a real sweetness between the 2 of them! This brief video gives a quick, yet clear view, of the heart of EFT therapy, as well as Hold Me TIght and Created for Connections workshop core concepts. Bravo Sue, keep them coming! I'm gong to share this here in Louisiana with the couples I see in therapy.
