Kenny could play a guitar fifty years and never put a pick scratch on it! He’s so smooth and effortless. Plays so gentle yet gets all the tone a guitar has!

That old Martin sounds incredible and the player is a master at finding all the right notes, Kenny is one of my favorites, his style of playing is inspiring, makes me want to play better every time I pick up a guitar, Kenny one of the best, THANKS for sharing.

Thank you Kenny for sharing such a fine sounding guitar and, as always, thank you for reminding me why you are my favorite acoustic player on the planet.

i have a 2013 D-28 shade top that i bought from a gentleman up near the mountains in western NC several years ago. it looks identical to that fine sounding Martin you have there. Subscribed and i've learned a lot from TR. Josh Williams and yourself.

I concur with other comments here that sing the praises of the instrument and the musician. Beautiful instrument, smooth, tasty playing. Thank you Gary for sharing that gem of a guitar, and thank you Kenny for helping it sing.

Beautiful guitar in all ways, especially in the hands of a master at his profession! The notes are so soft and round in this demo, but I'm sure it can be beast if needed... Kenny knows how to pull the tone out of an instrument for sure and has taught me a lot about how to do that.

Amazing! I love anything you share Kenny and hearing you play, but I sure love hearing and seeing old guitars that we don’t get to see that much.

My Vintage guitar is a 1941 Montgomery Ward "Serenader" guitar... its really low end, but try and find one. I found it a mile from my house at a Backyard Junk Shop. When i picked it up and asked the price, he Said..."You're the first person in 10 years who even picked it up. It's FREE, take it"... that was almost 20 years ago.... later on I found the label at the bottom of the guitar!! Now its worth 500.00 dollars.

@kennysmithguitar447 If I may ask, do you use the same EJ-22 on these old rosewoods, or something else? Also, what pick are you using these days? Thanks.

Leather Britches with the A string tuned down to G...that's a new approach to me...reckon I'll put in some time messing with that. Whatta dreadnaught!!

Wouldn't call Kenny Smith mediocre and also I think it's the other way around...a holy grail guitar in the hands of someone who doesn't know how to use it is tragic.
