You had me hooked at the .29 mark when I heard the name "Madeline." You're so sneaky Mike. 😁 WOW, I love her Camaro. She definitely knows how to roll. I love Darren's garage. Oh, oh, Madeline travels with her own knife? I guess she really likes to make her point when it's called for. I would definitely give her, her space. A wide space. 😉
As to ACS, now that I'm a customer of theirs, their packaging and boxing is top notch in my book, to say nothing about the quality of their products.
I like how when you asked Madeline if this is something she'd like to have on her Camaro, and I could see her wheels turning and she said "maybe, we'll see." She's one smart cookie. Why would she spend her money and possibly not like it. I could see those same wheels turning if a guy asked her if she'd like to go out so time. Her reply, " Well, we see." 😁 What she really means is, "don't call me, I'll call you." I think she's a very discerning woman in all things in life.
Moving on. Ms. Maddy drives a manual? She's a woman with many surprises. Good for her! 👍👍 While you were doing the install of the rock guards on the passenger side, I got a good look at your brake calipers. Are they as big as they appear to be? Holy Moly, they look big. As to the rock guards, once installed they look like a factory install. Well done to all involved with same. Especially Madeline. She had her eye on the target at all times with the rivet gun and was totally focused.
As to the side skirts, when you were pulling the wrapping off, it looked as long as telephone pole. They must be longer than the Vette's?

Two last items. First, Maddy needs her own youtube channel for we Dinosaurs who are not on social media. Second, what were you using for filming while in the garage. I guess an iPhone? The quality IMO is superb. Save the Wave 👋 P.S. What else do you have in store for your Camaro? A wing maybe?
Peter, thanks for sharing your secret, I’m glad I know how to hook you so quickly from now on 😉 Maddie is definitely a cool girl and like you said, so is her knife, and her amazing ZL1 1LE Camaro.
Yep, ACS is the best for sure. They always provide high quality products that look so good on your car. I just wish they made more Camaro parts.
Oh yeah, she wasn’t ready to commit to anything on her car until she saw it on mine, lol. Now that she’s seen it, she like it though.
Yeah, she has my respect in many ways, but big time with this tidbit of information.
1: She drives a manual.
2: She’s put over 12k miles on her 2023 Camaro since September of 2022.
3: She drives a Camaro ZL1 1LE with a super bumpy race suspension as her daily driver.
4: She drives a 650hp 650 torque beast as her daily driver.
5: She likes working on cars.
There are probably many more that I’ve left out, but those are enough to earn my respect.
My Camaro was built to be tracked, so yes, the brakes including the calipers, are very impressive. The rock guards do look factory. They blend in so much, it’s hard to even notice them unless you know what you’re looking for.
Yep, she was definitely focused on making sure the rivets went in correctly, and she did a great job.
Lol, the side skirts are definitely long, but I don’t think they are any longer than a Vettes.

I was filming with my good ole Sony AX53 4k Camcorder. I’ve been filming with it since day one on my channel. It definitely does a great job capturing crisp footage.
I have quite a few plans for the Camaro. Things just always seem to take a long time to make happen. It will hopefully look completely different 6 months from now.

Looks really nice. I have a 2023 2SS 1LE in Rapid Blue with the same exact mods. One thing that looks great that you should consider is the OEM fuel cap cover in black with the Camaro logo that you can get from GM. Keep the great content coming!

Personally I like the SS grille as well. Styling is subjective, some may consider the ZL1 grille too big and over the top. I miss the Camaro content, you likely got a good price for that beauty when you sold it.

Yes, they’re quality will be much lower.

The way I would make it look like a Z L1, and go pay for one. That's a real one. Then you don't have to go through the crap of doing all that other stuff to make it look like a fake.
Why not just buy a ZL1 1LE? Instead of ridin' dirty as an imposter? You have no idea what people are saying when you're not around. I tell you how it is right to your face. That's how I roll!
Because who cares. The only ones who will are ZL1 1LE owners who spent the money on the car. Considering it’s cheaper to do a 1LE conversion than buying a ZL1 1LE, and ZL1 1LE’s are harder to find, a modded conversion is a good way to go if you just want the look of the vehicle. All in all, whoever owns the car can do whatever they want with it, regardless of what other’s opinions are. Pretty simple, really.

If you are going to show Camaro information, like builds and other things you can do with your Camaro I think you should started a second Channel for Camaros. Your Corvette people who made you what you are today find it sacrilegious to watch this. The name Brink of Speed is synonymous with Corvettes it should not be used with other car brands.
Hey Steven, I’m sorry that you feel this way. I started Brink of Speed, always with the intention of having multiple cars on the channel. I actually disagree with you about Camaros. I would bet that most of my Corvette fans either owned a Camaro before they ever owned a Corvette, or they like both cars even if they haven’t owned one. If my channel was only about Vettes, it would have that in the name. Speed represents any fast car or anything that goes fast for that matter. BTW, the Camaro isn’t a different brand than Corvette, they are both Chevy’s 😉
