Though I thought that trains in France travelled on the correct left line, in a northern direction, with trains on the opposite line travelling on the right, in a southern direction. I'm even thinking of acquiring an HO-gauge model of the SNCF BB26000 sybic Electric Locomotive

Le plus beau, et de très loin, ce sont les rames tractées. Il y a un nombre incroyable d'amateurs de chemin de fer qui n'aiment pas du tout (mais alors pas du tout) les automotrices, pas même les TGV. Pourtant ce sont elles qui envahissent de plus en plus le paysage. Et dans les revues (qui périclitent) les photos et descriptions romantiques d'autrefois ont chuté en flèche. Adieu le charme SNCF.
