@@Blossomandbranchin South Africa our winters are mild enough that there is always something that can be blooming, I can’t imagine a few months each year with no flowers growing. So I totally understand the joy those last blooms must bring!
That is so beautiful!! I wish we could smell it 😊 I love the crisp fresh smell that everything has in the fall! Thank you for always sharing something both pretty and something educational! I enjoy your videos so very much!!
Be still my heart, what a stunning bouquet! My calendulas are still hanging in with some frost protection here in southeastern PA. Cut a bunch last night as it was going down to 27 degrees by this morning! Thank you, as always, for your info packed videos.
Beautiful bouquet! I love aster so much. I had a little finally grow and bloom 2nd year here and I made sure to help spread some seeds in the area. I would love my “wildish” garden with plenty of with aster and goldenrod in the fall. ~Janelle in Ohio.
This was fabulous. Even under 2 feet of snow I’m enjoying the last of the season blooms. I had a little bit of stock and loving the fresh smell in my arrangements ❤
I don't pinch my mums so I can have long stems for cutting but they do need support & since I grow individual plants I just use small tomato cages around each plant, can't even see the tomato cages by the time the mums come into bloom.
Thank you as always for the insights! You mentioned in videos before that you directsow your zinnias. Do you thin them out in place or do you let them grow wild? :)
Where do you recommend getting mum seeds? I can't seem to find them anywhere. I have 3 mum plants from Trader Joe's I got last yearm surprisingly they're still going strong. I just wish I had more all over the garden
Nj here and my zinnias have been gone for many weeks. We have horrible powdery mildew with the humidity and rain. We were dry until August, rained then nothing since. We Might get a little bit tomorrow. My dahlias have also been gone for weeks, they are already stored in my basement despite our 80° days through Oct and Nov. frosted then the warmth came back.
This video was filmed about 3 weeks ago but a nice reminder of what we had not long ago and things to look forward to! Good job getting those dahlias packed up!
Such a beautiful bouquet
I think I always love the last one the most because I know how much I’ll miss the flowers!

Such beautiful blooms. That bouquet is fantastic.
We're also waiting for our first frost. But excessive rain is mooshing a lot of my flowers.
Oh darn, that rain is a blessing and a curse…
@Blossomandbranch indeed.
Gorgeous bouquet! My dahlias and zinnias are thriving also with the cooler temps here in NC. Love all the colors!
Yes they enjoy those cooler evenings don’t they?
Beautiful, brilliant and informative: applies to the garden and to you! LOL So helpful - and looking forward to your expanding farm journey as well!!

Where do you get your chrysanthemums from? I want to add some in the coming year
New here, great videos! What company do you use to order your seeds?
Beautiful! When do you seed the buckwheat with the dahlias?
About when they’re a foot tall!
@@BlossomandbranchThank you. Adding this to my notes for next year.
Are those hardy mums? Do you grow them from seeds or plugs? I would like to try to grow hardy mums from seeds but having a hard time finding seeds.
Usually mums for cutting are grown from tissue propagation, so from plants vs seed!
Not sure if my headphones are bad or something but the video only plays on my left ear and its really annoying. Other than that good video
Yes I am finding the same thing.
Same
Yeah, the audio on this is really poor... Like a slightly echoing & very fuzzy sound.
No problems with the sound.
Very strange! I’ll look into it for next time!
