I drove up I-20 from Augusta with a co-worker who has since passed on. He was a Falcons fan and I was sorry they lost the Super Bowl the previous January but, as an LA RAMS fan since 1967, I picked up on this team's vibe early on that year. We had end zone seats and the KO and INT return TDs came right at us. At the end of the game, I made my way toward the tunnel and, as the RAMS were exiting, I kept bellowing "Make reservations for January!" We all know how that turned out. Great memories.
I was there also. I remember a Falcons fan setting next to me saying we weren't that good and hadn't played anybody yet. I told him, not only did we kick your butts two times, but we're gonna come back here to the Georgia dome and win the Superbowl. Hahaha!
Tony Horne and Az Hakim were unsung heroes in that magical 99 season with their explosiveness in the return game. Hakim averaged 10 yards a punt return with a TD, Horne averaged nearly 30 yards a kick return and scored 2 TDs plus another in the playoffs. The Rams also scored 8 defensive TDs that season. So in addition to being the most lethal offense is where they scored 11 non offensive touchdowns. The Rams often had great field position as a result of those two in the return game. That was a key ingredient at least for 1999 and 2000.
I’ll never forget that 3rd and 26 draw that Faulk converted into a first down. I was watching the game with my dad in our living room and as soon as Warner handed off the ball I shouted “you’ve got to be kidding me”. Then Faulk began weaving and breaking tackles and handily converted. “Well… that was a great job by Faulk but I still don’t like the call.” It seemed like everything the Rams did that year just worked. What a great time to be a St. Louisan.
As I look back it was funny how Atlanta thought they could repeat their previous season's success. Sure they had injury problems and missing Jamaal hurt them a lot, but there was nobody stopping these Rams. Especially in their division. Both the Falcons and 9ers, after losing in STL, proclaimed "Wait till we get them at home." Yeah, right.
The Dirty Birds had a lot of veteran players in 1998 (Eugene Robinson, Q Santiago, Ray Buchannon, Chris Chandler, Morten Anderson)..1998 Falcons were done after 1998 season ⁉⬛🏈
Ah...the good old days after Tony Banks. For a franchise that has 4 winning seasons since 1990, 99 still seems like a mirage. Too good to be true. Thanks for uploading!
Yep, it changed the sport. The league wanted a team like this every year afterwards, but it's fake. Glad I was old enough to have enough of a background in what the NFL really is to be able to appreciate the 99 Rams. Probably best offense and best story of all time but you'd have to look back not forward for comparisons. To put it another way, they would have made Lombardi proud.
I absolutely will Chris. I don't have all the games from 2000 and 2001, but I will be uploading the ones that I do have from those seasons. If I do end up finding them, then I will add them later. I'm glad you're enjoying these games. Thanks for the support!
I do have the '99 Titans / Rams regular season game; however, the NFL blocked that along with a couple other games as well. I'm currently looking at website that I can upload them too. I'll make a video later so everyone knows.
I'm currently focusing on getting the 1999, 2000, and 2001 seasons done. My plan is to eventually get to the 2002 and 2003 years, but I don't have any timetable for when I'll get to them. Thank you for the suggestion, Alex.
I always felt like this was the game when the Rams fully replaced the Falcons who really started the Greatest Show on Turf era the year before but the Rams made it even better.
This game confirmed the Rams as the official new boss of the NFC West. But these '99 Falcons weren't the same team after Jamal Anderson had a season ending injury, and WR Tony Martin left via free agency. Those were 2 big losses for the '99 Falcon offense.

The hunger on this 1999 team is only matched by their speed. What a fun run by those rams.

Thanks for uploading!
I appreciate it, Chris. Glad you enjoy them!
Thank you for posting all these I get great enjoyment from these videos
Thanks for the support Brandon!
Great all time team 99 when the rules didn't change the game, and still the Rams put up points like no other team in history!!! Bruce, Holt HOF!!!!!!
Warner Faulk GOATS

That pick six from Wistrom was killer. Just basically killed it. So awesome.
Grant Wistrom just had a motor that wouldn't stop!!
I totally agree with Wes Thompson.Thank you Daniel. Keep it up 👍
I appreciate it, Raul. More video are on the way.
Bro you're the fucking man. I literally wait for these videos to come out. You have my full support.
Haha thanks Wes! Sorry I don't have a set schedule for when I upload them, but I'm trying to pick up the pace a little. The next one is in the works!
Wow. Grant Wistrom was pulling away from Chris Calloway. PULLING AWAY. A 270 pound defensive end was flat out smoking a wide receiver.
I have never seen a team before or after where EVERYONE was just FAST.
"Like a lot of hungry lions feeding on a carcass in there."
LOL, best description of a scramble for a fumble that I've ever heard!
These are great. Are you going to keep adding 1999 and 2000-2001 highlights of the games?
I absolutely will Chris. I don't have all the games from 2000 and 2001, but I will be uploading the ones that I do have from those seasons. If I do end up finding them, then I will add them later. I'm glad you're enjoying these games. Thanks for the support!
yeah for sure. Im not even a rams fan but i loved that team from 99-01 just how fun they were so keep those games coming haha
My old high school teammate from McCluer North in Florissant MO scored first for Atlanta, way to go Bobby Christian!
The STL Rams went 2-0 in the Georgia Dome for 1999 season..The Super Bowl was much tougher than the game vs. the Falcons ⁉⬛🏈👣📙🏟
2:38 3rd and 26 draw play to Faulk picking up a first down defines how ridiculous that Rams team was. Still remember that play.
I was a Ram fan until they moved. After just watching American Underdog I needed to see some real Rams action.
3rd and 26 and Faulk got 30 on a handoff
Daniel it looks like you had two sources - NTSC and HD720p
Thanks for posting these Rams games. Do you have the Titans / Rams regular season game played in Tenn
from 1999?
I do have the '99 Titans / Rams regular season game; however, the NFL blocked that along with a couple other games as well. I'm currently looking at website that I can upload them too. I'll make a video later so everyone knows.
Daniel Leu did you find it? If not it proably has to be pretty unpopular website
Good Times.
You can tell it’s the 90s. Atlanta went for a FG down 41-10 instead of going for it.
do highlights of the 2003 and 2002 seasons when Bulger came in
I'm currently focusing on getting the 1999, 2000, and 2001 seasons done. My plan is to eventually get to the 2002 and 2003 years, but I don't have any timetable for when I'll get to them. Thank you for the suggestion, Alex.
Daniel Leu no problem no worries. 2001 would also be great
Back when they threw it to Fullbacks... good times
Hey bro I've been looking for the 99 NFC championship game?
Are you looking for highlights or the full game?
Lets kick that ass on Saturday go RRRRRRAAAMMMSSS
Where'd you find these games? Were these originally recorded or something?
A lot of awesome people have sent me these games through emails.
P.m passed the info
I always felt like this was the game when the Rams fully replaced the Falcons who really started the Greatest Show on Turf era the year before but the Rams made it even better.
They should've never fired June Jones.🤔
Rams vs lions?
Leo Kings I'm not sure why, but the NFL has blocked that game along with a couple others. Sorry about that.
Daniel Leu what a shame, wish the. The complete 1999-2001 Rams was on here, thank you tho
Don't worry, I've got more games to upload from 2000 and 2001. Thank you, Leo Kings.
Number 54 ok

Atlanta has terrible fans lol. Only a year removed from super bowl appearance and week 6 and already empty stands
