The most versatile 310 is worthy of a mention . . . excellent for everything from light pruning, deadheading, trimming, flower arranging . . . the list is endless . . . . I have gifted several pairs over the years . . . always with overwhelming gratitude!!! I even have a "kitchen" pair . . . wouldn't be without them . . .
They are worth every penny, I’ve had my #2’s for over 35 years. Only replacing the blade once! My #7s are probably over 30 years old. Take care of them and they will last a lifetime!
To have a Felco is a investment for centuries. My first 7 is from 1979 / 43 years and still perfect in her work. My model 6 was lost in the vineyard in the grape harvest time in October. I found her again in march, a little bit rusty but… some days covered in WD 40 liquid and she was new again. No pruning tool in the world is better…
@@luticpagan3549 no, it was the small one, the Nr. 6 this is also a very fine one, good to handle and also good for precise smaller cuttings like cut the grapes 🍇 in summer in one half for premium Productions or doing finer smaller work on the plants. For my work, I use two Nr. 7 one the smaller one, the Nr. 6. for all workmen the garden, vineyard and around the year.
Hi @janicemitchell5783 Thanks for your comment. The cog wheel sets the tension between the blades. Once you have tightened this to your desired tension, then you use the opposing cogged screw to fix this into place. So disappointed when I bought some Felcos. I accidentally threw them in the waste with the clippings. So disappointed. I bought some cheaper ones and they are, well, crap.
Nope, really like them! 1 minute 52 into the video talks about recommending the number 6 for small hands - ua-cam.com/video/NpB-lwl58QU/v-deo.htmlsi=KGiVWRCn8PCcmi1i&t=113 The 6, 12, 16 & 17 are all Compact secateurs suitable for women and men with smaller hands...

I am from Kashmir we are using felco pruners here imported from Switzerland
Thank you!
A question - what is the purpose of the cog wheel on one side, with the opposing cogged screw, please??

Ars is the best
This is a channel about secateurs!
Do you hate women? You haven’t introduced any secateurs for small hands.
