Interesting to see how you installed it. I normally use yay for AUR packages. Also of note is that Brave has a pretty low memory footprint compared to Firefox or even chromium :)
Yes, Brave uses less memory. The positive side of installing it that way, is I don't have to install Yay or Paru. The downside of installing it that way is one has to be aware when the browser needs an update, either by going into the folder and doing a git pull or by keeping an eye on it in the Arch Aur Website. With Yay or Paru, it will get updated automatically.

Yes, it's based on the Chrome engine. I never used their bitcoin stuff and I forgot to mention it. Both Brave and Firefox have unnecessary bloat.
