Where I play locally many 4.0-4.5 games are evolving to more hand battles and speed ups and less mindlessly dinking 20-30 times. So for hand speed I feel the BDi has few or any comparables. And its one of the best looking paddles out there!
Hahahaha. I'm constantly looking for great cheaper alternatives. The best alternative I've gotten with similar materials was thrive's hat but it wasn't colorful enough. I prefer bright blue 😂😂
Played for an hour woth it and it was really controllable with plenty of pop. What i struggled with is my backhand so will try some lead tape on it for next time. Overall v pleased. @FarmerLankyPickleball
I’m going to say it, I feel like edgeless paddles are a pointless technology. They chip, they shrink the sweet spot and I don’t buy the aerodynamic benefits… so why would you buy one? Looks? Not for me.
I agree with you when it comes to most of the edgeless paddles. So far this is the only one I've thoroughly enjoyed that's edgeless. I felt the gearbox PPE and Integra would have been far better with edge guards.
@@FarmerLankyPickleball If anyone can get it to work it would be 6.0. This exact paddle is the only edgeless one to make reviews “best” lists… even then it’s never in #1 spot.
disagree on edgeless paddles being pointless. Biggest benefit is lower SW this more hand soeed at the net. Im maining a BDi and like Lanky said the pop is off the charts only paddle I would compare to is a ALW or Pursuit Pro MX. The Gearbox Fusion was close. Sure they can chip and sweetspot may be smaller but the speed and being able to move your hand fast offsets it. Now dunno if I agree with Lankys SW number of 113 think its stock 106-108 per website. But he got a heavier one. I ordered one from Hometown Pickleball and got a 7.9 one. edgetape. weight and overgrip its 8.1. For putaways roll volleys and speedups nothing overall conpares to BDi and Ive played with all the newer paddles last 6 months. Spin is almost as high as a Ruby and more durable.
@@MattyRut2922I mean think about it logically. I have a 14mm gearbox pro, and a 11MM proton. The proton is actually 15mm with the edge guard and that extra length adds more wind resistance.

@FarmerLankyPickleball lemme know when you find a good one. I'm looking for one too!
I got one this week. We'll see how it plays.
Yes! Please let me know

@@MattyRut2922if you look at Six Zeros own paddle chart it rates top 1-3 in every category of their lineup. Dale himself games the BDi
