Seriously loving how their making Vader legit terrifying like a ghost or just evil incarnate
Facts him killing that kid , father , women etc was terror & how he did obi wan was making them even now 💯😭🤣
I actually didn't feel anything from those seen s
I actually thought it was poorly directed
@@nbell0089 you ok man?
And the best part is that, unlike Jason or Freddy or Mike Myers, Vader can't go out like a bitch or have his personality devolve into a joke. His end is written. His personality in the last ~10 years of his life (Rebels to Jedi) is set in stone. We already know how Vader's story ends, which means the solution for the good guys can NEVER be "kill him". That is never an option, which only serves to increase the menace of Vader (because literally NO MATTER WHAT they throw at him, he will survive) and make the heroes more interesting because, since killing him is never on the table, they'll have to think of some other way to get away.
Exactly. People saying him being stopped by a fire don’t get the point. It shows him staring at obi wan and the droid, then turning away. He wants to slowly torture him and stalk him lmao. Actually terrifying
Vader was disappointed in the weakness of his former master. It's not how he imagined it going. And yes, wants to see Obi Wan suffer more.
Maybe Obi Wan starts to strain after this defeat
@@thocka5144 Naw, Vader is on a whole other level now. He's never stopped training or fighting Jedi, Obi could train but still never reach Vaders level at this point. Although he lost power being cut up his potential is still greater than most jedi just not Sidious level or beyond anymore.
From what I understand, Vader isn't in his prime until post-Rebels...but then again Palpatine is always actively suppressing his powers.
As a really old guy from the 1977 Star Wars, I'm SO happy to see young people like you guys watching Star Wars all these years later. I hope this franchise brings you decades of entertainment as it has me. Thank you for uploading your reactions! Sub'ed and you have my love/respect.
How old are you? I’m 22 I think it’s pretty dope how something like this goes through the decades and generations. I remember I just turned 16 and got my license I took all my friends to the premier of force awakens, sneaking in McDonald’s cheeseburgers to hold us over cause we showed up 4 hours early to get seats but it was worth it all. I think it’s cool that people like you probably have similar experiences but 40-50 years earlier.
@@jameshill8493 Ha! That's an awesome story. My dad died when I was 6. Last thing I ever got to do with him was go to a drive-in in 1977 and see my favorite movie (Star Wars). He thought it was stupid, kids stuff back then but he loved his son so we went. That's the thing. We should find reasons to like each other rather than reasons to hate each other. I'm SO glad you like some common culture. Let's find more reasons to get along, I ask you humbly. Oh, I'm only 50 but... it's the miles not the years. Again: love and respect to you and yours. Always your fan.
They really did a good job on making Vader look like The Devil himself.
I’m dying at them yelling at Wellz to get Obi-wan bruh 😭☠️
Hahahaa
A bloodthirsty rage induced Vader going after an inexperienced Obi-wan that doesn't want to believe that this is what his padawan has become, we Star Wars fans are truly being blessed this year! I really hope we get to see more ruthless and brutal moments of Vader in these next three episodes and when it comes to Vader "letting" Kenobi go it's because he was dissapointed in how Obi-wan fought. He wants to Obi-wan to die slowly and painfully because of everything that he went through back on Mustafar but not in a way were Vader can defeat him within seconds. That's not the Obi-wan Vader remembers or wants to fight, he wants to fight the same Obi-wan he lost to 10 years ago to fulfill his revenge.
I wouldn't say inexperienced. I get what you mean, just maybe the word "rusty" or "undisciplined" or just "lacking practice" would be more appropriate. Otherwise, I'd say what you said was spot on!
Loved this episode. We've never seen Vader be this scary on screen before he's insane. Also I'm glad they are showing Obi-Wan struggling and through all of these emotions he's not in a good place mentally. Hes not the wise Obi-Wan we seen in a new hope or from clones wars and the prequels. He isn't himself.
Seeing him in this episode screamed mismatch. Vader could have killed alot of people and Ben. His force hold is so strong he can just snap necks easy.
He was pretty violent in rouge one
Vader wanted Obi Wan in his prime to prove he could beat him, I’m sure he’s disappointed that Obi Wan is too weak now to have a worthy duel
Storm troopers wouldn’t know obi wants face at this point. The empire has Billions of Storm troopers across the galaxy, most have never even seen a Jedi.
I like how Vader used the civilians to draw out obi wan
Straight murdered them
And it didn’t even work. He only came out to buy Leia time.
These guys think those are clones
They have a picture of him and beyond light speed communication/travel. They literally showed how easy it was to plaster his face to every bounty hunter in the city in seconds in the previous episode. You’re going to tell me that one low-tier inquisitor is smarter than every single other person in the Empire?
@@emptyxsuit The empire itself don't care that much about the Jedi and Sidious even stated there was no point in fighting a already defeated enemy, it's just Vader who really cared about slaughtering the Jedi which is why the inquisitors became a thing
shoutout to Jerry for understanding Vaders objective. Wasn’t to kill obi wan on the spot but make him suffer
Jerry is consistently the smartest
Vader didn’t defeat Obi-Wan in Episode 4. Obi sacrificed himself so he can guide Luke as a force ghost. He planned it
yes sir
This reinforces the whole thing about Vader can't do anything without being theatrical. And I'm absolutely here for it.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The third sister is not smarter than vader, he simply has other things to do, she is a he henchmen doing henchmen work.
yes yes
The whole plan was to use Leia as bait, at this point I don't even know why they're still after her too, she fulfilled her part as bait...
Yup the inquisitors are just hit lap dogs they mean absolutely nothing to him
Obi-Wan is still undefeated. This is Ben's loss.
Yeah I can stand with that !
Obi wan lost to dooku tho
@@shirothelacraiasempena4704 Dooku was too familiar with Obi Wan's fighting style since he trained Qui Gon who trained Obi Wan. Despite that, he still considered Obi Wan a worthy adversary in the Clone Wars.
@@mrspecops-9672
Oh so we making excuses aiight
@@mrspecops-9672 excuses
Why Wells say Obi wan is undefeated? Off the top of my head he got bodied by Dooku TWICE lol.
Tactical L's 💯💯💯 Obi Wan undefeated 🐐
Obi wan ain’t get decapitated tho
I know right, he would have been killed by Dooku lol Anakin saved his ass
@@vipwanrinkle6439 At least dooku didn't look 80 at age 60.
Dooku had too much smoke for Obi Wan lmao 🤣
i think Vader felt that Obi Wan wasn’t the same skilled fighter as in Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith. He probably let him escape knowing that he will eventually regain his strength to the Force again and have a better fight in the future
Yes, he wants to prove himself to Obi Wan. He doesn't want to fight a weak Obi Wan, he wants a real fight.
@@DangI7Bobby I think the real fight with obi-wan and darth Vader might be at the final episode
So, he’s as stupid as Goku, then.
Coincidence, Obi-Wan vs Vader here in Episode 3 and their last fight was in Episode 3(ROTS)😀
Y’all really asked if that way vader in the beginning 💀 even after watching all the movies and all of clone wars. Crazy
"Is that an empire symbol?"
orz
😭
They did a great job with Vader showing how ruthless he is. And it's hilarious he just playing with his food. He could literally have killed Obi-Wan at any min. His suit is so strong he can be submerged in lava so he could have easily walked through the fire.
He's just enjoying the hunt haha.
This episode was so sick ....
Obi wan vs the Darth Vader........Literally goosebumps through out it all. Loved your reaction....
"You get a choke , you get a choke and you get a choke"
Darth Vader as usual being cold and giving zero fks
Possibly this can be called , Revenge of the sith lord 😅
Guys, a small sneak peek for Ahsoka was shown this weekend. It is literally gonna be a full-on sequel to Rebels. Don't watch the trailer for Ahsoka when it drops because that small sneak peek pretty much spoils the ending of Rebels. The trailer will probably do the same. If you liked this small Vader fight in this episode, you guys are gonna scream during a certain scene in Rebels.
YESSS
My friend, "You YOU are the hero"
Watch them watch it anyway lol
They're probably never going to watch Rebels, the fact that they're watching this without any context to the Inquisitors is proof enough.
@@dontreadmyprofilepicture8817 It's sad Because Rebels is one of my personal favorite Star Wars It's soooo good
Obi wan wins in the end by training luke and and leia and successfully hiding them from him
I was shaking when Vader was walking thru the town
Vader is such a fucking legend, literally so many people get excited or are in awe when he’s on the screen
I love Obi wan, but he did lose. But that’s understandable. He just regained his connection with the force and its his first time using a lightsaber in 10 years.
It was a draw
@@SwiftJustice fam no it the fuck wasn’t
@@SwiftJustice lmao no
@@SwiftJustice you may want to rethink your understanding of the word draw lol. Obi-wan got worked here but it’s more than understandable. He is the most out of touch with the force and out of practice in saber combat since pre padawan days, and Vader has been hunting jedi down for 10 years non stop and the closest to the dark side that we’ve seen depicted in film/tv yet. It was a worthy L
Also, and this is the part that people don't really get, all of the Jedi powers were....reduced. Ever since Order 66, the Dark side of the Force has been "clouding" the Light side of the Force. This was already a thing during the prequels. Yoda does specify in a convo with Mace that the Dark side of the Force was already clouding their abilities. But once the Dark side started to win and clapped the Jedi...then it was literally lights out for the Light side. In this era, all Light side abilities are ... muted.
Glad to see people actually appreciating this show for what it is. I know there are slight problems. But Star Wars fandom complain about every little thing. Look all on UA-cam 🙄💀. But I enjoy y’all’s reaction!🙌🏾 and so excited for where this show goes and how it ends!😁
Vader could’ve easily killed Obi-Wan. He let him escape because he wants to continue torturing him and keep him scared of him
But why would he waste it and make it possible for him to not be found again? So stupid.
@@Nipponing Hes extremely overconfident, as he’s always been. With the inquisitors solely searching for Jedi, he isn’t concerned about not being able to find him again.
@@Nipponing Its a Sith thing really.... their power base is defined from fear and hate. They literally get "boosted" from these negative emotions. Be it from themselves or from their enemies. And like a Vampire, he wants to feed from those. Especially if its coming from Obi-Wan.
@@claudegrenier3180 I didn't consider this... But still stupid if he really wants to kill or capture him.
@@Nipponing his arrogance was definitely part of it, but he’s also been stewing in this beef for 10 years. That’s why instead of just striking him down, he burned obiwan while laying at his feet. This isn’t a simple kill for Vader, it’s the most serious type of revenge for him.
Bruh they literally stated in the first two episodes that Obi-Wan has been out of the game for 10 years. So forgive him for being rusty and not taking on Vader at 100% 🙄.
They mention it a lot
true
I mean, he's out of the game in Rebels too and he still kills Maul effortlessly.
@@dontreadmyprofilepicture8817 not quite. In this he’s cut himself off from the force completely, Buried lightsaber and all. In rebels he has been training the force so he isn’t out of the game like he was here
@@dontreadmyprofilepicture8817 well that was after this, perhaps this encounter with vader got him back into the grind again, as luke is also becoming of training age and he can't have an incompetent master.
"I told yo ass not to jump" Fucking dead XD
Not doing something for 10 years has its effect, Obi Wan will be back for the dub later
The fact that Vaders suit was specially designed by The Emperor to hinder his true power is the biggest thing that always gets me
Obi wan was trying to feel Anakin thru the force to see if it was true that he was alive and as he was doing so, Darth Vader was being dressed💀
Yeah Obi didnt even say pause smh
🤣 “he kinda killed ya fadaaa!” 🤣 7:33
Vader be like Michael Myers I stg
Seeing Ewan and Hayden back again is such an awesome thing
Ewan McGregor Obi Wan was 3-2 in saber fights up until this show. Beat darth maul, Beat General Grievous, Beat Haydens Anakin, lost to dooku 2nd movie an 3rd movie. hayden beat dooku in 3rd movie. Then Vader won in this episode so Ewans Obi Wan is 3-3 actually just the 3 he beat are 3 of the biggest sith we ever seen
0:54 the way homie said Kenobi?! Bro had that Vader tone
Umm technically Obi-Wan didn't get smoked in New Hope. He willingly sacrificed himself so Luke could get away
My man was hyped made the lightsaber pose and everything right as Obi Run took off 10:55
lol, they still thinking Maul will show up...
I HOPE!
@@maxdrags3115 He won't.
It's possible if Disney want to alter the timeline a little but doubt it. Maybe season 2 perhaps if that's the case... But then it would have to be a better fight than Rebels
He technically could appear, their final fight and meeting was on Tatooine so it wouldn't retcon anything cause the series clearly isn't taking place on Tatooine. I don't know what else they plan to do with Maul cause he doesn't have a series in the works and he clearly showed up in Solo for a reason.
I think it’s very important to remember the actual reason Anakin lost to Obi Wan.
It wasn’t the high ground or him being too over confident.
Although those are for sure big factors.
It was because Obi wan used a DARK SIDE move to cut off him limbs.
Obi wan was known as the “perfect Jedi”
Anakin didn’t for a second think he’d use a sith move, in any situation.
The move was created to dismember all 4 limbs at once of a stronger foe.
In the end he went out like Maul on the way that he lost to obj wan even though he was fat superior in lightsaber combat.
You guys are great
its ben 10 years he said know one caught that 🤣
Young Vader is a demon and petty lmao he waited 10 years just to torture him
Rob getting sweet revenge after how episode 3 ended and his boy anikan got did dirty😂
im always so confused on why some feel like its a challenge with the characters they each like
Obi Wan: GOTTA GOOOOO
My fav reactors with Yaboiroshi goats
Seriously y'all really need to watch rebels if not all of it at least the most important parts
Shit is wack
Obi Wan had the high ground in Revenge of the Sith. Anakin and the high ground in the Obi Wan series event. What have you become? 'What you made me'
Obi-wan got roasted by Owen and now literally by Vader. He's not having a good year...or a good life.
Look up the video from like last week star wars event Ewan McGregor said/teased episode 7-10 as well on the microphone to the crowd
Darth Maul is still alive,. he doesn't die until 6 years after this story takes place
Bruh are you guys watching some boxing match or WWE Undertaker losing his streak or something? Why ya’ll care so much who is undefeated or not lol
That's pretty much how they built their channel...over fake hyper arguments about useless power scaling things, like kids, rather than character discussion...
I can’t believe they’re on Vader’s side
Why? Vader is Goated
It's tv show dude, Vader is fucked up but still the goat

Well Obi did make Vader this monster. All this rage, anger, destruction and mercilessness is from his defeat by Obi and Obi not finishing the job.
You guys should react to the "Star Wars The Old Republic" cinematic trailer. You'll all enjoy it trust me
I mean... While everyone is saying who won and whatever.... NO ONE has spoken about Quinlan Vos alive???!!!
At this point in time I think there's 8 jedi alive right now... Will dropped to 6 but still
“I didn’t turn you into that.”
Okay dude, he only cut off his legs and left arm, and then left him to fully burn 🔥
This kenobi series is the best acting Hayden aka Anakin/Vader has ever did! Props to Hayden and Ewan 💯 still the 🐐s of Star War's
While Obi Wan has hidden his Force abilities for 10 years, resulting in his powers weakening, Anakin has been able to hone and strengthen his own because he’s not the one being hunted. He has the luxury of using them openly. The fight was unbalanced. Not up for this Obi slander. Smh.
Kenobi season 2 happening, Reva death changed, survives for season 2, fate and role uncertain.
Where are you getting your information? I hope there is a season two.

The alien dude driving obi wan an Leia im pre sure is seth rogan talking for him btw

It was Zack braff doing the voice of freck
@RT TV,
15:24 Darth Vader wasn't trying to kill Obi-Wan. He was torturing him, and he told Obi-Wan that he'd suffer before running his face through the fire. Darth Vader was just getting started. If you watch/listen to the Inquisitors, they torture all Jedi they capture before killing them, that's what they do; they squeeze them, getting whatever they can out of them.
Darth Vader waited 10 years for this moment, he wasn't going to end it in seconds. He was going to make Obi-Wan go through what he did limbs, fire, burns and all. He's also not worried about what happened because he has the planet locked down, and his forces are everywhere, going house to house looking for others.
This was a great episode and it puts us in a great spot at the series halfway marker. Obi-Wan had given up on the galaxy. He didn't think it was worth saving and wanted nothing to do with it. But this one last job, has shown him that there are people, non-Jedi people, doing what they can to make a difference anyway they can. People that do not know him, keep putting themselves on the line to help him help Leia.
And now, he realizes that he's partly responsible for the galaxies suffering. Instead of killing Anakin like Master Yoda told him, he left him to the environment, believing Anakin was already dead (he was dying). Quinlan Vos' words etched on to the wall along with all the other messages from Jedi that passed through that safehouse gave him hope, and made him even more determined to get Leia back home safe. Vader's arrival gave him the proof he needed to see, Anakin did indeed survive their battle on Mustafar.
Obi-Wan lost because he unbalanced and isn't as connected to the Force as he once was. Seeing his "brother," student and friend again, alive, and full of rage scared him, made him more unsure of himself. Obi-Wan's got to fix that, and he needs to do what he can to fix this, and to some degree we know he will because of the original trilogy. I don't know what he'll end up doing but whatever he does will be enough to keep Darth Vader and the Empire off Tatooine and Leia safe until she gets into trouble in A New Hope (ANH) or Episode 4.
"When I left you I was but the learner, now I am the Master."
--Darth Vader
Vader saw himself as an unskilled fighter when he last faced Obi-Wan, so Obi-Wan's got to mess him up again by the finale. If he doesn't that line in ANH won't make sense.
I think we're going to see a Force Unleashed and Darth Vader vs Ahsoka Tano type fight in the finale, ending with Vader's helmet damaged and Anakin's face visible. And we'll likely get to hear Anakin speak in his own voice for the first time since RotS.
I hope the rumors of a season two are true. I want more of this, please! Boba Fett and the Mandalorian were great, but THIS is what I want! More of this!
Now this was a much better episode than the last 2 for me. Vader. Nice to see Hayden again and it's not vader without James Earl Jones for the voice
Vader let Obi Wan escape, he want the hunt and the fear

Rob went back to hating on Obi-Wan when Vader on the scene
12:35 🖐🏿🔥🙈
I give them the credit because they actually watched Clone Wars and they’re fans. Y’all niggas need to watch Rebels & Bad Batch
What i find funny is that the Inquisitors fight for the honor of being Vader's second in command. And in the entire history of Star Wars Vader has never had a second in command. He's a Sith, and there can only be two Sith. Sith are also very manipulative and they exploit people, so the INquisitors only have one purpose: to exterminate Jedi, and once that happens.....Vader or Palpatine would eradicate all the Inquisitors, including Reva since they would be a threat to him, especially if they're Force-sensitive.
Vader's hell bent on hunting down Obi-Wan, causing him suffereing and then killing him. Vader's purpose is to completely eradicate any reminders of who he used to be, because those memories only serve to cause him guilt or remorse, he's got a whole different personality now, so he's kind of psychologically "beaten Anakin back" until he's only Vader.
The only person - the ONLY individual who can redeem Vader in the future is a ten year old boy on Tattooine who has yet to discover his destiny as a Jedi.
God this series is really good! Deborah Chow's doing such an excellent job!
Mad love to Moses Ingram, too, she's a dramatic powerhouse of authority as Reva! Cant wait to see how this all unfolds.
