I love how these look i came across these like a week after they came out and instantly fell in love but i wont be getting any for awhile they’re $375, pretty pricey haha
@@TonyTheTechnician I know what you mean. I recently came across a sequential tail light kit on the thirdgen forum I want to get...I keep adding things to my list and don't even have the engine finished yet. It gets away from ya fast
They are led so they should last a very very long time but if for some reason something happens I think there are screws you can remove but I also believe it is sealed on so it may not be easy to do
Hey Tony, do you have any videos that show resistors being added to these? Seth was saying if you have the LED side markers they need to be installed. I’m just trying to get a feel for where exactly to put them. His advice was “One end of the resistor will need to be tapped into the parking light signal on the car side of the harness and the other end will need to be tapped into the ground signal on the car side of the harness. This seems to correct all issues related to these side markers. Some people have experienced their lights working with parking lights but not with signals and other have had the opposite. I installed these sidemarkers on my own car and found that the front lights would not work at all with the sidemarker plugged in at all. Adding in this resistor allowed all the lights to work together as intended. These load resistors do put off some heat so make sure you mount them safely to a metal surface away from any plastic, example the crash support brace under the front bumper”. Idk what any of this means
Think you sold me on these, been seeing them on my 3rd gen groups on facebook. I'll definitely be painting them however, the 3D printed look is cheap looking to me.
I definitely painted the set on my personal car! However I'm gonna post a picture on my social media soon, I stumbled upon a change by accident that makes the face plates look WAY better and smoother. All of them from now on will be this way.
@@FireballMullet very nice. That will be awesome. Man I remember when I bought these headlights and was blown away with how bright and white they were compared to stock. Now they look like stock compared to the DRL's lol.
@@TonyTheTechnician those DRLs are bright man! Oh I found some side markers lights LED on eBay… straight from China but seem to be working, I’ll post a link in a comment
@@FireballMullet very nice ya I picked up a set but having issues with them functioning properly. I'm thinking it might be a ground issue with the side markers. And ya the DRL's are very bright
I bought a new bumper about 8 months back and it does not having the mounting for my blinkers does anyone know a alternative to make it work bc with out them setup my blinkers do not work
I was considering some of those vent lights but, after actually seeing a view of the in the video, I think I’ll pass. The 3D print texture turned me away. That price I don’t want to have to paint or smooth anything out. Do get me wrong, they are bad ass and I like em and it’s a great idea. Maybe one day he’ll come up with a mold for a more cleaner and smooth look. I’m sure he put a patent on them. At least I’m hoping.
No different then a good set of taillights or a pair of seats except these have more functionality. I will say it's not cheap but it's not ridiculous. It's not a mass produced Chinese product that everyone has. It is sourced and built in the USA in a garage. Custom piece for the third gens. He spent alot of time and effort on this one off item. It wasn't just an item copied from another seller.
@@TonyTheTechnician I get it but that is such a high price I really like it but it’s so high priced it’s not even a slight consideration. I’ll make it out of metal
I want to say also that I really enjoy your videos. You do a high quality very worth while we’ll thought out series on the third gen and that right now is my only focus outside of work, building my 92 I have never owned a third gen I love my car and because of a few guys like you I have saved alot of money and not waisted to much time on this project. Thank you. I will keep watching!!
you think that’s expensive, my entire set of headlights is 1.5k . These turn signals are legit and worth it if you want to add a really cool sleek modern look. But if you want to have a sleek look, i suggest diode dynamics switchback leds and the clear euro housings that i have from before 👍🏻 cant go wrong with both looks and awesome and have fun on your 92 build
'Finally got My thirdgen project running last week after an engine swap. Your videos were inspirational and helpful.
Very nice that's awesome!!! Great to hear it. Thank you

Haha ya they are pretty pricey that's for sure. But as soon as I saw them I knew I had to have them lol. I was hooked
I’m in love with them
Nice product. I like the dual functionality and fact that it bolts in place. Looks very well made.
Thank you and I absolutely agree 👍
Hello again Tony
Thank you for another Great Video. I like the look it brings to the Camaro. Again thank you
Thank you and ya they have an amazing look for sure! 👍
Tony...stop giving me ideas for my IROC build...if I buy any more parts my wife will divorce me! Lmao
Lmao my bad 🤣 I thought I bought to much already for mine but somehow I just keep adding things and I couldn't pass these up

How does a person access the lights to change them if they burn out?

Do you think they would make much of a difference to the temp of my engine without duct? Not sure where to aim the duct on my 350 TPI
Ya if you don't run the actual ducting then it won't really make a difference at all. It needs to be pointed wherever you want cooled
@@TonyTheTechnician ok, I think I need to figure out a way to cool my radiator
Too bad those not done for 82-84 Z's. I'd buy them
I think he was working on something for them

I need to make a smoke machine or buy one to look for vacuum leaks in my junk turbo kit. Soapy water in a spray bottle hasn’t been sufficient 😐
Where do you get the lights ?

He actually changed the way it prints the front plate now so it has a smoother texture.
