I have ALWAYS run a camera when I ride. Just because of all the great drivers we have in our country and to show others their driving skills. LOL Since I have been on UA-cam, I have never been pressured into making videos. I do it WHEN I want to. May be once a week or once a month. I guess that is why my channel size is so small, going on 17 years. I had the opportunity over the years to meet great people (you included) and unfortunately, to learn about their passing. I learned a lot and most of all, a record of my motorcycle journey over the years. Something to leave my children and grandchildren to see when I'm gone. The greatest complement I have received is when my daughter used to watch my videos when I was in the hospital after the burn, just to hear my voice to comfort her. If I had ZERO subs, I would still make videos, just for that reason alone.
If you are riding and recording content and doing what you want to do with your channel then there's no "problem." As your title reads, "DO IT YOUR WAY." You do you Boo! Ride safe Bob!!!
Wow that's hot, it is 80 here and Severe Storms and Tornado Watch, lol welcome back to Tennessee. Installed a new windshield on the Wing yesterday, F4 Custom a super hard finish on it so can be cleaned with Windex. Not much happening. Glad to see you out and about. Be safe, have fun. Hope things are going well in N. Fla for you.
I get a huge kick out of pressing record while I'm out riding, and seeing what ends up on camera! The results are what they are. I've found that editing is quite a bit of fun for me, hence the 2nd channel focusing on THAT. Well, that and the gear related to creating videos. Just having as much fun as I can, while I can! :D Great topic, Bob!
Greetings, l joined UA-cam on November 1/2014, about six days before you joined l see. I never intended to try and monitize my channel, just to record my rides to enjoy during the off season. Enjoy replying to the comments and have also met some fellow vloggers. A fun hobby. Congrats on your sharp new Road Glide. Safe Travels. 🙂🏍🇨🇦
We live in a world of "Likes" and greed. Technology and social media as fun as they are have begun to ruin us. How many people actually talk on phone vs texting? As much as I enjoy what I do with you tube and IG I miss back when, and really wish it would all go away. Get back to human interaction and conversations face to face instead of reading a text or comment. Stay safe my friend.
Hey Bob, buying subs seems weird to me too. And UA-cam is just fun for me. As you know, I take a lot of breaks, and just ride for the sake of riding!!!!
Im ready to meet everyone again at Vamm24 in several weeks. Last year was a blast 😃👍👍
I'll not make it to VAMM this year, I'm heading back down to Panama City.

Meeting people through UA-cam has been a giant benefit I did not expect!! Be well Bob!!

I agree in a lot of ways Andy, but we've met a bunch of good people through this madness.

The light was kinda red….😂
Hey Bob. Yeah the hours are the hard part.
I don’t see any benefit in buying subs or views. 🤷♂️
Nope, I agree
