Hey everyone, jumping in on this review. I just wanted to share my experience with the MSI Sword 15 A12UCX because I'm having freezing issues while gaming (Valorant and Assassin's Creed Valhalla) too. It's probably ok if you are careful and delicate with handling your laptop. I would say wait until new laptops in 2024 are released. Then you will have more choices, and older models will drop in price.
I am literally watching this from an MSI 15. The issues that I have is the screen turning off and on when I plug/unplug the power cord. Also the keyboard is shit, the paint around the letters is chipping off and a whole ass key broke off (I did not drop it or anything, I treat my electronics like they are my babies). Also when I got it the ram was having issues and I had to replace it myself. The only issue I haven't had was the hinge on the screen. Though depending on the velocity of setting it down the screen bends back on its own. Also it heats up like crazy so if you do buy it be prepared to hear the loud ass fans (my family literally complains whenever I have to ramp it up). Overall it's an overpriced piece of crap.
the screen seems to be normal as some laptops are programmed to drop from their high refresh rate to a lower refresh rate when on battery power, not sure how it is on MSI but on my asus i can turn that function off so it remains on high refresh
actually the bravo 15 r7 5800h rx5500m is my best laptop purchase ever, initially i bought it to replace my good ol dell inpiron 14r 5421 but when i receive the laptop, i unbox it enthusiastically, open it to set up windows then immediately went "nope this not gonna last, heck my decade ol dell has wayyyy better quality than this", turn it off, place an ad on marketplace, 3 weeks later its sold plus i got profit. best laptop purchase ever.
This is the first time I've ever seen a direct-die cooled CPU with such a massively undersized cold plate. What are the thermals like on this abomination?
Got my GF66 Katana with i5 and 3060 back in October 2022 for 800€ as I started studying and needed the performance for media production and it was the cheapest Laptop with more than 4 GB Vram. While it is painful to see one's financial decisions critiqued, it is indeed true that this Laptop is to be avoided, I already had to send mine in because of a dead gpu after 11 months of usage. Thankfully everything was covered under warranty, but this in addition to the bad build quality doesn't inspire any confidence.
For a good bit of this I completely forgot that this was an MSI laptop and thought you were reviewing a dell one. I really did not expect something so low quality from MSI.
Well, damn... 😅 Had this thing for a year. I'm thinking of giving this to my nephew and investing in something better for myself. Lil man don't care, he plays Fortnite. 😂
Why review MSI again if it's obvious the costs are cut with the blade, sword or whatever katanas their manufacturing plant uses instead of precision tools designed for these purposes. How about some mouse and keyboards reviews? G403 has longevity issue with lots of people reporting double clicking in period of first 1-12 months. Had few G403s and no problems so far(but broken scrollwheel in 3 years), form and features are flawless.
@@muhammedyaseen1404 It's pretty good bro. It's Underrated. This is my honest review of my MSI laptop: MSI SWORD A12UDX is truly a BEAST !! I really liked this laptop. It is perfect for my gaming and editing purposes. It is powered by 16GB of RAM(expandable upto 64GB), Intel Core i5-12450H processor and a 6GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU, which handles most modern games at MAXIMUM resolution. It also has a 1TB SSD(expandable upto 2TB), which is RARE for laptops in this price range. It has 15.6-inch FHD display with a 144Hz refresh rate, which is GOOD & FAST for gaming. It has a single colour BLUE BACKLIT keyboard. The build quality is DECENT(It's just OK). I'm completely satisfied with this product. Only thing I would point out as negative(it is not even a negative) is about the battery life. Gaming laptops have high processor+Graphics, so ultimately it consumes more battery which is COMMON for all gaming laptops. (On playing high games, it lasts roughly 1 and half hours. If for normal use it can last upto 5 or more hours. You can increase battery life for normal use by disabling GPU, decreasing brightness, limiting CPU speed to 50% etc and change it back when gaming or when necessary) Also, it just has a plain back but don't judge a book by it's cover. It's performance is just superb. OVERALL, THIS LAPTOP IS A PERFECT GAMING LAPTOP when compared to other gaming laptops with this price range !! www.amazon.in/review/R1K0YMXC2EG3EY/ref=pe_1640331_66412301_cm_rv_eml_rv0_rv all

can anyone say it how is this laptop overall i plan to buy a gaming laptop! is this worth my money in 2024?
It's probably ok if you are careful and delicate with handling your laptop. I would say wait until new laptops in 2024 are released. Then you will have more choices, and older models will drop in price.
@@HandleIsNewAndBad ok brother thanks
Review for lenovo LOQ 4050 ram 16😊
this is my kind of review
man I bought it in 2022 why now 😭
Same 😭
As did I
I am literally watching this from an MSI 15.
Yeah my MSI 15 does the same thing with the screen. Unfortunately it always runs hot and the fans barely help even when they're so loud
This has to be hands down, the worst modern gaming laptop interior i have ever seen in my entire life
actually the bravo 15 r7 5800h rx5500m is my best laptop purchase ever, initially i bought it to replace my good ol dell inpiron 14r 5421 but when i receive the laptop, i unbox it enthusiastically, open it to set up windows then immediately went "nope this not gonna last, heck my decade ol dell has wayyyy better quality than this", turn it off, place an ad on marketplace, 3 weeks later its sold plus i got profit. best laptop purchase ever.
Love mines!
Could you review the rtx 4050 version thats just come out with i5 12500h, if you get your hands on it?
I have my hands on it, it's exactly the same as he says for this one, except the weird metal piece to add weight is gone.
This is the first time I've ever seen a direct-die cooled CPU with such a massively undersized cold plate. What are the thermals like on this abomination?
They're absolutely garbage, I would knoe
7:23 I came to watch a laptop review not get reminded of my life :'(
RIP
Is it so bad?
The hinges alone make it a bad laptop
I can't believe i almost bought this peices of crap one time . I have an acer nitro 5 an15 , best laptop I've ever owned .
Man u just save My life
Got my GF66 Katana with i5 and 3060 back in October 2022 for 800€ as I started studying and needed the performance for media production and it was the cheapest Laptop with more than 4 GB Vram.
Awesome review 😂😂😂👌👌👌❤️❤️
GL series is getting worst and worst evey iteration.
Oh sorry. I mean Sword 15.
Actually it's the Katana
@@JarrodsTech oh yeah. Katana is the white version if not mistaken.
Petition to just call them all Knifey Bois

MSI has been on a roll lately...
..at realising laptops with worse build quality than McDonald's happy meal toys
So I shouldn't be going for this
Body of these laptop is copy of 2021 nitro 5
Me: I would like one S**t, please!
The Computer Shop Employee: You want a what?
Well, damn... 😅
Had this thing for a year. I'm thinking of giving this to my nephew and investing in something better for myself. Lil man don't care, he plays Fortnite. 😂
Im seeing this on a katana -_-
❤❤❤
Why review MSI again if it's obvious the costs are cut with the blade, sword or whatever katanas their manufacturing plant uses instead of precision tools designed for these purposes.
How about some mouse and keyboards reviews? G403 has longevity issue with lots of people reporting double clicking in period of first 1-12 months. Had few G403s and no problems so far(but broken scrollwheel in 3 years), form and features are flawless.
Too warm people it's bad. Also Logitech will always have double click issues in their mid range mice. It's a given unless you buy newer ones.
Me watching this video with my MSI SWORD A12UDX...............
How is it bro.. I am planning to buy one
@@muhammedyaseen1404 It's pretty good bro. It's Underrated.
This is my honest review of my MSI laptop:
MSI SWORD A12UDX is truly a BEAST !!
You can increase battery life for normal use by disabling GPU, decreasing brightness, limiting CPU speed to 50% etc and change it back when gaming or when necessary)
Also, it just has a plain back but don't judge a book by it's cover.
It's performance is just superb.
OVERALL, THIS LAPTOP IS A PERFECT GAMING LAPTOP when compared to other gaming laptops with this price range !!

@@derikthomas28Not in 2024 it isn't. There are plenty of chinese laptops that are cheaper than this and do a far better job with their RTX 4050 which runs at a higher TGP too.
@@one_step_sideways yeah right
What if I just bought it to emulate games?
Did you even watch the video smh
