    I had a 970X, 2channel IR, hooked up to a new B130X and it seemed to not be as efficient as a trio of B124X extension batteries, even when the cameras are set at the most efficient settings, so currently leave the 3 extra B124X extension batteries hooked up to this setup.
    I contacted BlackVue regarding the B130X NOT HAVING EXTENSION PORTS, but never got any kind of satisfactory answer from them.
    I don't want to use the Powercell 8 battery because it requires the use of a different app but may be forced to consider this if there are no other options when these batteries need replacement, especially since I have recently added the new LTE module to this setup.
    I also have a 900S 2 channel which has the front camera in the rear and the rear camera on the rear window on the drivers side (gives side view-police stops, break-ins, etc.) This setup also has a B124 battery with 3 B124X extensions and will be eventually replaced with the new 970X-PLUS 2 CHANNEL, ergo my pleading with BlackVue to add an extension port to the B130X.

    The camera resolution appears to be quite good. Thanks for sharing this.

      You must be new to dash cams as the CMOS sensor are terrible. Even a cheap Chinese cams has better image sensor

    I never thought of attaching both of them to the box in the center of the windscreen.
    I will have to try that on my EV.

    Can the video recording of the front facing cam be separated from the rear facing cam footage. Incase you need to provide the forward facing recording to someone without giving them access to the rear cam footage which in your case records everything you do in the car.

      @CarGuy11  Рік тому +1

      Yes they are separate files.

    This is all so confusing to me. So with free subscription you can still see live views and get notifications but theyll be limited correct?
    Secondly once you access the cloud youre using GBs from the sim yes? Is there anyway you can just not go into the cloud?

    • @CarGuy11
      @CarGuy11  Рік тому +1

      Without the sim only will get cloud notifications if your camera connected to Wifi. You can connect locally on your phone to camera as well without sim.

    Anyway to turn OFF the Blackvue camera that's connected to the B-130X with parking mode turned OFF when you don't need to record at all (e.g. parked in house garage overnight)? I'm finding that theres no way around this and the B-130X battery will always drain to 0% unless you physically turn off the B-130X or unplug the power cord to the Blackvue

    • @CarGuy11
      @CarGuy11  Рік тому +1

      Unfortunately that is correct but never know when someone will break and enter even in a garage.

    With the connection via the 12V socket, and your car running, do you know if the dash cam will record in normal mode if the B-130X battery is fully discharged or in a low state of charge? I am considering the battery on a weekend car that will be driven very short distances, so expect the battery to be always low.

      With car running camera will run in normal mode and the battery with be charging.

    Is the parking mode on this camera any good? Or is there better cameras out there?

      This one is good as shown in video. Can set it for motion activated or time lapse.

    How is compared to the dr900x plus?

      @CarGuy11  Рік тому +1

      It’s very similar with slightly improved image quality.

      @chefgav1 Рік тому +3

      As reported by vortex it’s not a huge improvement and in some instances it’s worse than the 900x plus

      Cellink is still expandable. In fact Blackvue batteries are made by cellink
