So you press with the peel on, making it harder for the tool? Then the unpressed tissue can't be used. I normally scrape it out and throw into the dish. The Koncis is also made of plate zinc and will corrode. The door seems gimmicky. One would think that this simple device would be perfected by now.

I use garlic presses to press ginger for my ginger tea with, so I can't just get any garlic press. Helpful video.

I have the first one you tried for a while now and I never knew I can press with the peel on 🤦🏻‍♀️ One thing I hate is peeling garlic so thanks!!

Leticia S. Isn't that the garlic press for ? I mean pealing the skin from the garlic is the time- consuming , boring, messy and smelly part. After pealing the skin off, it is nice and easy, whether you chop or smash it.

The Vardeful keeps opening up when I put pressure on it to crush the garlic. A failure!

Koncis is pronounced "kon-seas" and Värdefull "verde-full".. please forgive me, haha.

Koncis比較適合華人家庭使用，因為華人大多數是去皮完再壓蒜泥，沒有殘渣的問題，只要不斷投入蒜仁其實還行，如果是不剝皮那自然是槽體越大越易使用

Seems like Koncis works better at the actual pressing process.. The other one did a messy job and left so much in the compost..

Skinning is the messy part, after the skin is removed it is easier to crush with the backside of a heavy knife or make small pieces
