i made the switch from the delaylab to the dd20 and im glad i did it. The main reasons i switched was that the Vox is SO HEAVY! it puts a ton of extra weight on your board but more than that is the Vox does so much, it has a ton of delay types that i dont find necessary for me personally. the dd20 has everything i need for now and i plan eventually to move to the Strymon Timeline but thatll be quite a few miles down the road. theyre both super great pedals but at times i found the Vox to be more delicate and harder to navigate than that of the DD20. i hope this helps.

Both are easy to store and recall, i would say their the same, the Vox just gives you more delay types and more presets, I would go for the vox if your choosing between the two

Hace un tiempo usaba una Vox tonelab le, solo usaba sus delays que era lo mejor, veo que ahora los mejoraron, en este round gana Vox!

Boss sounds better. I have the dd20 but the problem is playing live you have to cycle through the presets to get to a different delay. If you need 3 different delays during one song it is a pain while playing. They should have put 3 footswitches on the boss. Also boss is always hard to figure out. Delaylab looks really easy to use. I still think the boss sounds better in this video.

Suena más orgánico el dd20,más en el analog.

the delay lab sounds of higher fidelity and has more options. I've had the dd20 in my rig for ages and the warp function started to stop working so I decided to make an upgrade... to the delay lab!

Both are great - I don't hear a huge difference between the two. The Boss does have a smaller footprint which I like. My biggest question would be programmability. Which is easier to program and quickly recall presets?

boss dd20 sounds more soft while delay lab sounds more intensive. I prefer delay lab for the loop mode but it' s nice the dd20 with its 20 second delay time.

I'm considering both these pedals to buy, I have no other delay and don't plan to get another for a while, when I do i'll get a true analog. shnobel which would you suggest personally?

Is it just me or does DD20 sound much brighter, treble-intense and metallic, while Delaylab is warmer? I certainly hope so; I like the warmer sound and I just got a Delaylab under $100 (haven't tried it yet).

Hi, I play at my church too, I use a lot of dotted 8, I´m using a BOSS DD5 with a tap tempo for it, and I have too a DD20, this two pedals are enough for me, I hope it helps.

I have the Delay Lab & love it,,,, in the studio. Almost too many bells & whistles. I use a basic flash back for reg playing as it has a lot of options but is easy to dial in. Plus I mostly use slap back in some form or another. Am looking however not at the DD but the RE-20. Delay lab sounds great though IMO.

I actually had forgotten I had the Vox until I saw one of Shnobel's vids on it. Loving it all over again.

That being said, is that suggestion based on just the presets? or are you factoring in everything each pedal has to offer?
