man you had to use tis for 1 month without a firmware, I used it 1 day and went back to the 4 , and not using the 5 again until it gets updated or I'm returning it !! 1 month thats crazy !!!

Updated for? Bitrate? It uses HVEC.. you can get the same quality with half the bitrate when compared to h264. Technically if you use HVEC on the 4, you may be able to notice but 95% of people wont. Most people dont scalpel their pixels. The benefit is 60-80 minutes of additional battery life, per battery, which is a massive improvement. People are making way too much of a big deal with the bitrate thing and most dont even know what the hell it means.

I’m looking for a small action camera, not for action, but for mall walking tours, city walks and walks at night in the city lights. I was about to buy the ace pro but then this action 5 dropped. Do you think the action 5 is a good option for evening and night walking videos? Or indoor light, like in shops?
And does the action 5 have jittery effect in low light with artificial lights?

Hey fella, how good do you think this camera would be filming a driven car, so like mounting on the rear bumper for example? Or straight to the metalwork? Do you reckon it would withstand the vibration without falling off?
