Always great videos from you, I'm a DJI / Ace Pro fan and going to test both and keep one I think. I love some of the new features of the A5P but still disappointed that even the low light has been improved still doesn't stand against Ace Pro and Ace Pro 2 is promising generation 2 PureVideo mode. Also why did DJI not go with higher resolution when GP has had 5.3K for awhile now and Ace Pro has 8K which in AP2 is also improved. But I have to admit, that larger battery, subject tracking and 65 ft waterproofing with depth gauge are extremely attractive for snorkelers and scuba divers. Going to be a tough one between this and the Ace Pro 2, can't wait to see what they are coming out with. GoPro is out, they had their chance with 13 and blew it, sad, they won't survive if they keep this up.
To be honest ive been testing both now for some time and shot a lot of low light, Action 5 is better on low light details, but ace pro has a cleaner look(more natural) even tho dji wins in terms of «improved light in low light» not sure how to explain it😅 also clarity is sometimes better on ace and sometimes better on Action 5. so for normal use and not PP both are equally good imho. But gopro 💩 also i have ace 2 🤫
@@robinhannevig Yah I figured you would have the AP2 lol From what I've seen, the A5P made huge improvements to the night mode, but is it me or do you think it's a bit over sharpened? I get mine today so I'll do some testing with it as well. I'm excited about the AP2 though, I hear there are some pretty innovative tech again and they address most of the complaints/wants from Ace Pro, can't wait to get mine!

I have 2 questions: - when you record 4k 4:3 what is the original resolution of that clip and what resolution will it have if You crop to 16:9? What You suggest when You want max resolution and quality but have 1 shot attepmpt. - is the camera recording gyro data every time or you have to turn it on? (For fpv) Does it record gyro data despite stabilization on? Thank You! 🙌

Man I’m having a hard time between this and the ace pro ! I want a small camera to film in lower light and mixed light like malls, shops, and evening walks.

May I ask, do you see much jittering or shaking with action 5 when walking in the malls? I’ve also been thinking about the go3s for mall walks but the action 5 and ace pro seem better for low light vlogging. I’ve enjoyed your Ace pro videos. Do you think you would choose the Ace Pro or Action 5?
there´s jitter in both, ace pro and action 5, end of story, no matter what people tell you... there´s jitter. GO 3S has less jitter for some reason, but quality suffers. I would say action 5 pro tbh. It´s the same with both, the low light can and will be improved further with software because both or the action 5 running on a 4nm chip for lowlight whilst the ace runs with a 5nm chip. So Action 5 has better potential.

Ive been doing a lot of mall walks in hawaii for some reason 😝 so there might be a full low light video coming soon

@@robinhannevig the less nm the better? And I think the Go3S has less jitter because it has a specific anti jitter feature.
