Lived there for 20 years and moved recently out of state. So sad to see my old community and neighborhood like this. Prayers to all in Wynne, AR.
Can you imagine you just live thru a tornado, you learn your home is gone and then some news guys drags you on to live tv & sticks a mic in your face for an interview. This News media station is really unbelievable.
My heart aches for these poor victims. Praying they all survived this nightmare. 💔🙏
And after she says she was at work he then repeats that she "emerged from her home" after it happened as though he didn't even listen at all.
I know where I'd like to stick that microphone for sure....

We were in the tornado! We started out hunkered down in the bathtub until the emergency service warnings were saying a huge deadly tornado was on the ground and I didn't trust the little building we live in to hold up, so our family of four bolted through the pouring rain down the street where there was an old in ground storm shelter on an abandoned property. No light in there of course besides our phones, and as soon as we closed the hatch we saw a HUGE black Widow spider full hourglass and all! Then we panned the little 5 by 8 shelter room with our phones and saw dozens more all around the room yall. It was like a scene from a horror movie! So the four of us stood huddled together standing up in the middle of the room because the spiders were in the corners and under all the benches! Stayed in there for 30 minutes of pure terrifying hell as we could hear the loud booming sounds outside overhead.
Not sure if we were more scared of the tornado or the dern spiders!

Omg that's horrible. I think I would go get a smoke bomb that kills spiders and throw it in there so next time you have to go there they are dead. Yuck.

If not maybe those affected could find it within yourselves to think that this is getting much worse every year. I'm from Arkansas. I know you all aren't a bunch of complete morons. I hope it doesn't take many more years for u to realize this isn't "normal" and if you want to argue with me plz do. I was in Wynne, actually I live there. I was crying for my Memaw cause a tree fell on her house and she got trapped. Thankfully she’s okay

You didn’t even listen to that woman. She said she was at work. You said she came out of her house. Also, emergency services can not be everywhere when this happens, they would have to have a lot more staff. No one is coming you have to help each other.

I know it's not Good Friday just yet, but last year Arkansas had one of the crazier storms I have ever seen, produce a Tornado on Good Friday. Crazy times.

yes, a lot of twisters, but it's tornado season. That is March - June, for Arkansas.
I think as of 9 pm last night we had over 300 tornado warnings go out.

It's been strong winds all day long in Fayetteville. Just wind alone took off the whole side wall of gazebo at Hillcrest towers in the downtown Fayetteville Arkansas area. The wind by itself is dangerous

Was there no pre warning for these folks? Do they have normal alarms, news media, text warnings? I’m concerned that SIX HUNDRED were injured. This is unheard of in the US.

I have Family and Friends there , It really touched my Heart for the People that went through what they witnessed and the lives that were lost . My Heart Truly goes out to all of you All.
