Trying to fix a PS3 by Reading SySCON Errors

I am trying to fix this PS3 by using the SySCON codes as a guide.

Hey Bro you got GLOD no video on hdmi and on av changing the encoders won't fix the problem one or two solders balls are cracked under the RSX that means 2024-2124 on the J,K,L,P,M,Q models versions mostly 65nm RSx it needs a RSX reball when there is no screen no hd indicator flashing its Green light of dead

Thanks for the comment. Yeah I came to the same conclusion and you have confirmed it. Unfortunately I dont have any means of reballing the RSX currently. I am thinking about spending the 500 and getting the IR6500 and trying to do it.

Determine what type of mainboard you have COK-001, etc. and then go to this website and it will tell you where the points are at that you need to solder.: www.psdevwiki.com/ps3/Syscon_Hardware#PS3_Syscon_models

I am actually going to attempt to remove, reball, and resolder the RSX in a future video. Hopefully, I will go well.

No worries about the English, I don't speak any other language, so good job. I agree, when I get a preheater, I will take the RSX off and reball it, and see if that fixes the problem. Thanks for the comment.
