When she is explaining yaak(to want) looks like you guys accidentally put "mai" where it should actually say "yaak" in the top left corner. 3:27-3:48. It confused me for a sec.
Great Thai Course....easier to ABSORB (not learn!). Staying and learning Burmese much more difficult....they need YOUR method. I absorb more with your quick method even than as example, passing years in China learning that complex street language in Fujian region.
yesterday I ate Tom yum soup. It was very goed! And I ate also Nam Tok salad...It's my favourite so far. There is a little restaurant who cooks street food in my city. It's great. I'm trying to speak a little with them but it's difficult. They don't understand me. The way that I speak I think. The chef is from Isan.
It has had benefit me once i watched your videos. Thank you ever so much for making more videos so that we can learn to speak Thai language very easy and effective.
Every time I come back to these videos I learn something new, because she is saying so many extra things in each sentence. Like I just learned that ของ "kaawng" has 2 meanings. Most commonly it means "of" a in relation between nouns. But I see her use it now in 3 sentences meaning "goods" or "something"
Hello, Jay ! I am living in Thai for 3 months now and I enjoy your videos lesson very much ! I usually watch them to study by myself. So, I have figured out in this video, in the example number 11 (to do), in your example sentence to show the real use of the verb. You made a mistake concerning the correct right of word บัาง. You have written : บ้าน . I know how it is difficult prepare a good material such as this one and We make mistake sometimes. I hope You are not angry after reading it because I am a FARANG who it is correcting You. Relax ! Take it easy ! Lets be friends. =) Regards, Gabriel (my nick name in Thailand is SAKA).
Thank you so much for making this video ! I have watched your Thai language learning videos since yesterday and I really love them. You are my inspiration for pursuing my dream of living in Thailand :))) By the way, I live in Vietnam but I'll be there one day.
Thank you so much for teaching! I'm having a lot of trouble in reading phrases because they are too long and the word writing system isn't straight reading like Latin languages! Please, would you have an advice by any chance?
+pedro dinho That's a common problem! Just keep practicing and becoming more familiar with the language :) Make sure you check out ThaiPod101.com for more study material! Team ThaiPod101
She is a natural in front of the camera. [Note - if you play it back at a slower speed, which I do so I can write down everything in English and Thai - she sounds stoned. It does not help that her favourite things to do are eat and sleep, and she hates doing things like ... reading and walking. Hard to tell if this was just her sense of humour or her real opinions] In any case, I agree, more videos from her if possible, her tone and cadence are great for learning.
slow it down a little she sounds like she's is drunk or on pot , speed it up and she sounds like she's on coke. Double the speed and she sounds like a chipmunk on crack
Well jay I am Bengali and we use the same word for eat and drink too😉- "kha". Though we do have a word for drink "paan" but it's very classic and old. It's like we are too lazy to say that word.
at 3:28 the text graphics for Yaak (I want) turns to Mai..... But thanks for your videos i gives me some thai vocabs and phrases... and the NBK it should be "MBK" chai mai?
Someone called you while you were Kamlang(-ing) Nawn lap. BUT Your doctor asked you to Nawn long(lie down) Nawn Ngai(lay on your back Nawn Kwamb(lay on your stomach). OR I’m about to go to bed, just say” Kamlang(about to) Ja-Pai(going to) Nawn(sleep). Notice:not saying Nawn lap. I hope you’ll get it. ✌️✌️
In all of the lessons that I have listened to so far, I feel that the Thai is spoken too quickly and hard to grasp. Whilst I understand we need to develop our listening skills, I get the impression that these lessons are somewhat rushed.

We were in Thailand last month and stayed in the Siam area. MBK has a lot of cool stuff and we also enjoyed Siam Center, Square and Paragon!
do u mean the bangkok area? Siam is the old name of Thailand, not bangkok.
+tomaf Yes, Bangkok but the Siam district of Bangkok. We stayed at the Novotel by Siam Square, Siam Paragon and Siam Center malls. Beautiful place!
Ooh, ok, i forgot about Siam Square. I stayed at a Novotel in Jakarta, Indonesia once. I guess they are everywhere.
+tomaf Can't wait to go back in 2018!
I'm jealous.
i can only go back if i win the lottery
