I'm so impressed with this coach--praises the players, & assistants, takes responsibility for shortcomings, actually analyzes what's going on, honest answers & real explanations, reserves judgement on ref calls. We could have a winner here, finally. Can't wait to see what happens next, hope it's good. P.S.--I love that there's no hate on Scott Peterson---makes me proud to be a Nebraska fan.

He has the passion, the drive, and holds players accountable. He loves this team and his players. I think we finally found the right former player to lead us. Also the adjustments on defense were amazing. That hasn't happened in 4+ years.

Indiana made adjustments and we came back and made adjustments too and played tough! Little sloppy. But TOUGH!! Shut them down in the second half
Mickey should be in the mix for coach, like frontrunner if he finishes well.
I agree he should be in the mix, but he needs to make a bowl game first before called Front Runner.

I'll be honest. I didn't expect this outcome. I'm proud of the players and I'm proud of the team, but at this point after the last 6 years of what we've been through, I've got sort of a begrudging eye on the team just waiting for the game where all heck breaks loose that sends them into a losing spiral and reminds us that the program is horrible still. I'm thinking it'll be Rutgers next week, but who nows. For now I can give them credit for a good job.

Be careful. We did this same thing about 5 years ago. Give him the chance, but don't put that pressure on those guys. Let them work up to it. It's his second game as head coach and we're coming off of 5 years of the worst record Nebraska has ever seen. Let it go naturally, no predictions, just cheers for what we improve on.

Wish Mickey could get his own Offensive Coordinator! We need to run the ball with some creativity. Bring back the fullback. Why did WHIPPLE hurry up… thought the game plan was to slow down… def came up big but need help with offensive scheme.

@@gtavguru1145 Yeah. That’s because we (Nebraska) played a tougher schedule so far. And Indiana went to Overtime with the likes of Western Kentucky this season. Pathetic. Both teams (Nebraska and Indiana) stinks!!
