Oh, they're not pretending... Haha!! I guarantee all the hosts you're thinking of are native New Yorkers. Anyone born and raised in NYC has an ingrained fear of wildlife 'cause they're like mysterious alien creatures to them. Stephen grew up in South Carolina so, he doesn't have that same instinctive terror. It may sound crazy but, I swear it makes a difference 'cause you can always tell which hosts were city kids when the wild animals come out.
Colbert - first you have on the legend that is Coyote... then you agree to be bitten?! You are a goddamn superstar, especially compared to the other late night hosts that are terrified of every single animal that comes on, to an annoying degree. Please keep on being the BEST, and please have Coyote on again!
Victoria K it was indeed wonderful! I saw clip and was headed to the comments because Will was the first animal expert. Would be a good segment to revisit.
An Australian ant once stung me in the pinky of my foot. I had a limp for two days. I was so surprised that an ant can do that (I was new to Australia) so I had to make sure it was that ant colony and not something else so I let another one sting me in the pinky of my hand. I couldn't grasp for two days. And yes, both were painful. The pain grew in pulses for maybe two hours then plateaued. After a few more hours it started to gradually go down. WTF Australia?!
Aussie is a dangerous place! It's full of strange creatures that will kill you, and even eat you!..Harmless looking beasty's that you would never suspect of wanting to 'do you in'!..Dear America..We think we have the answer to your Trump problems!..Send him over here..Covfefe and all..And we will introduce him to some of our darling monsters, and that should solve all your problems!..Even his covfefe!
Any Colbert fans who are not familiar with Coyote's channel Brave Wilderness you have to check him out. There is something for everyone on there. From cute & cuddly to nightmare inducing, you will learn something from each video.
haya hayoona it looked to me like he was seriously angry about it, too. I would have thought it would make him laugh but he didn't even smile until right at the end n that looked fake.
That iguana reminded me of the iguana that was vibing on top of my fridge in turkey a few years back, i still wonder how he even got there in the first place
BEST EPISODE EV-ER! Anyone who knows anything about Cyclura saw THIS coming a mile away! It was my first thought when Coyote placed that big beautiful boy on Colbert's desk. It was a tad more delayed than I thought but...OMG I LOST IT!!!
I love his channel! It's more than just sticking his arm out and letting things bite or sting him, he's a really knowledgeable wilderness fanatic and really enjoys the animals he handles. He informs the viewers with factoids about what he's looking at, whether it's a parrot, or a brown bear, or a centipede. The pain index was fascinating to watch, because he still found the composure to explain what the sensation was like, and he also showed the proper techniques to clean and care for those stings to ease the pain and inflammation. It's a great channel, I recommend people checking it out. My favorite clips are of him with a young ocelot in the woods. Oh, but also be prepared, he also does gross out episodes where he and his crew try exotic plants and pungent fruits and try not to puke. Entertaining in their own right, but not if you have a weak stomach.
Stephen doin' a little old-school Letterman-style "this animal is humourously gross or scary to me" action. Stephen, next BRING BACK TOP TEN and WILL IT FLOAT!!!!!
Also Colbert thank you for being so sporting! I watched Coyote on another talk show (not gonna name names but rhymes with monan) where the host was really not having any of it -_-
Colbert was lowkey “pissed” when the iguana relieved himself on his desk😂
Good pun if it was supposed to be one
I'm Coyote Peterson and I'm about to enter the Talk Show Zone with Stephen Colbert.
Hello there
Teach Me Your Ways!!!!
and his Crew comes in " Tell Me Coyote how it feels , describe how you feel "
@@Toon___ general Kenobi
Im obiwan kenobi and im about to go into the sting zone with anakin skywalker
the urine really threw steven off of his game. coyote's like "yeah that happens"
He has a 'pooper reel' instead of a blooper reel... it happens a lot xD
First animal expert on the show??
Will Ferrell is crying silently
Moon Gazer yeah, what about Mulan?
REMEMBER THE PARROT
My thoughts exactly!
Moon Gazer he wont have Cilantro
I thought we weren't talking about Professor Feathers
Brave Wilderness is content is pure quality. Is great to see Coyote appear in talk shows, they deserve the attention.
I agree, and even though they have over 10million subscribers on youtube, they still seem underrated and not that known.
That Iguana just showed everyone how to assert dominance.
Iguana 2020
well this was an unusual crossover...
Art blender but a crossover that I can dig
The coyote does have 9 million subscribers, right.
Finally a late night talk show host who doesn’t scream and hide. Stephen went right in and pet the lizard. 👏🏻
Jennifer Kelly check out Conan
"You're our first Animal Handler or Animal Expert we've had on the show"
smh disrespecting Will Ferrell
Thank God Stephen reacts normally. I hate when talk show hosts pretend to freak out about animals. They aren't that scary. Get over it
Yeah, I feel like that defeats the purpose of having the animals there in the first place. It's like they wouldn't care if that animal went extinct.
Iguanas can literally tear your arm to shreds
Oh, they're not pretending... Haha!! I guarantee all the hosts you're thinking of are native New Yorkers. Anyone born and raised in NYC has an ingrained fear of wildlife 'cause they're like mysterious alien creatures to them. Stephen grew up in South Carolina so, he doesn't have that same instinctive terror. It may sound crazy but, I swear it makes a difference 'cause you can always tell which hosts were city kids when the wild animals come out.
He sounds like Charlie Day
Ah, I was trying to place it. That's it exactly.
Alex D ....."The gang enters the bite zone"
THANK YOU! I'm not the only one who hears it
Kinda looks like him too
Holy shit. I've been watching Coyote a long time and never noticed the similarity lol
Can this be true? The Stephen and Coyote cross over episode??? Oh. Oh my.
Finally. My fan fic has come to life.
How is this real? First Hot Ones and now Coyote?!?!?!?!
Now we just need SmarterEveryDay and Epic Rap Battles of History
Rhett and Link next
they did fallon ..
Now we need Taras Kul and/or Grant Thompson!
so...?
Awesome, they got Coyote on... also anole! I feel bad for the Iguana though, poor guy didn't even get any bananas.
He probably got some backstage
Me too :(
He got pissed get it
This was probably the first and last animal expert to be on the show based on Colbert's reactions XD
Colbert - first you have on the legend that is Coyote... then you agree to be bitten?! You are a goddamn superstar, especially compared to the other late night hosts that are terrified of every single animal that comes on, to an annoying degree. Please keep on being the BEST, and please have Coyote on again!
I'm dying. That finish was so perfect. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
How did they not show the Stay Human drummer (Joe Saylor) side by side with his doppelganger, Coyote? I think they look like twins!
My man Coyote :)
Stephen actually seems pissed at 5:25. Lmao.
The most amazing channel in UA-cam brave wilderness 👍
i love me some Coyote!
i just noticed now that coyote sounds a lot like Charlie Day
Stephen Colbert is a good sport! Of all the late night talk show hosts, he is my favourite.
The fact Peterson brought the bananas out of no wear is so random makes me laugh
"One of the most dangerous lizards" lol, Coyote is messing with him
Hey, what’s going on coyote pack!
U ok? ;)
Ehhhh what's up
trending at 3, 2, 1
zerpBot does it count if it's his own video trending above this?
zerpBot nope, UA-cam algorithm is absolute garbage.
WHERE IS WILL FERRELL
Victoria K it was indeed wonderful! I saw clip and was headed to the comments because Will was the first animal expert. Would be a good segment to revisit.
Will Ferrell sucks.
@Rob Simpson To each their own. It's cool dude.
I actually tend to avoid his pain videos just because they're mostly him writhing around in agony and I rather watch him discuss cool animals. XD
mostly as in him barely doing it for 2 minutes out of a 20 minute video, didnt realize 10% is mostly
Well it feels like longer. I don't really enjoy watching people writhe around in pain.
After Stephen showed that clip, I realized that I was biting my thumb from the tension and I actually left tooth marks in my skin.
Colbert now has his own PeePee Tape! @4:05 !LMAO

WTF Australia?!
It seems that you are a scientist, that reminds me xkcd : xkcd.com/242/
Pif de Mestre: there's an xkcd for everything! ^^
"I still wasn't sure, so I let another one sting me in the pinky of my penis."
No wonder my cousins left that place in 2016.
Well, someone's not getting a second invite *lol*
Why
If its good for ratings, he will be back.
I'm amazed this is only the first time Stephen's had an animal expert. The animal segments on Kimmell, Fallon and Conan are the best!
he's back! haha
Scarlet S - yeah, but did you notice Stephen seemed pretty cool toward Coyote in the 2020 segment? Think he was still mad about the iguana?
Getting bit by lizards, a classic Floridian childhood that i remember fondly lolol
4:05 i laughed so hard i almost peed myself
Iguana gets in front of the camera, pees on the table for the clicks. He takes from Coyote.
Any Colbert fans who are not familiar with Coyote's channel Brave Wilderness you have to check him out. There is something for everyone on there. From cute & cuddly to nightmare inducing, you will learn something from each video.
Absolutely - it's cool, intense and still no toxic masculinity to be found. It's amazing
I love that Stephen actually was excited about the animals and didn’t act like coyote was just some weirdo
I love my man coyote, so glad to see him grow over these few years.
Haha yeah you could tell by Stephen's face that was the first and last animal handler he will have by his desk. 😂
🦎💩❌
Hell yeah!!! Long time viewer of Coyote and his shenanigans, love love love this 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
I wonder if this is the first time an animal peed on late night tv
haya hayoona, no its happened lots of times on the old David Letterman show.
Definitely not. This sort of thing used to happen on the Johnny Carson show back in the 80's too.
haya hayoona FIRST time? Nope.
haya hayoona it looked to me like he was seriously angry about it, too. I would have thought it would make him laugh but he didn't even smile until right at the end n that looked fake.
Yeah he seemed pissed tbh
OMG!
Thanks Coyote!
Steven got attacked by two lizards!
That lizard is freakin' adorable. He's like "mlem! friend, not food" like a little green Hulk
Credit to Colbert for not panicking. It’s amazing how jumpy talk show hosts tend to be.
I LOVE Coyote Peterson & Brave Wilderness! I’m so excited you had him as a guest! Great interview!
I love both of these guys and subscribed to both of their channels!! I love how Colbert brings in popular UA-cam people like Sean Evans and Coyote.
stephen is such a good sport. I love when youtubers come on talk shows and get recognition.
That iguana reminded me of the iguana that was vibing on top of my fridge in turkey a few years back, i still wonder how he even got there in the first place
at 4:23 looks like the iguana is high lol let me know once you see it, probably rolled up a nice joint lmao
1:57
coyote : dying from pain
Camera man: you alright?
Coyote’s left hand: 😐
4:04 you gota go you gota go lolo lololo
3:31 its Godzilla’s little brother lul
THIS IS THE INTERVIEW I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!
The Coyote Pack!
Stephen Jumped back so fast when it peed lol.
BEST EPISODE EV-ER!
Anyone who knows anything about Cyclura saw THIS coming a mile away! It was my first thought when Coyote placed that big beautiful boy on Colbert's desk. It was a tad more delayed than I thought but...OMG I LOST IT!!!
Good to see Coyote get some mainstream press his channel is one of the best on UA-cam.
Every child in Florida is laughing right now. Anoles don’t hurt; they have no teeth. LMAO!
The lizard shits on the desk, TV gold right there.
Coyote is incredibly likeable.
I was watching him get bitten by snakes and stuff all day yesterday, now he's here. Lol.
Good job staying still Colbert! You're awesome 👏🏽
He looks so nervous at the beginning of it I don't think he was really that upset about the lizard peeing 😂 just wound up waiting to be bit
Stephen looks so pissed lol when the iguana peed lol
Did anyone else think before watching: "On a scale of Jimmy Kimmel to Jay Leno, how scared will Stephen be?" LOL
That was awesome! And I love brave hosts that aren’t afraid of animals.
Still proud member of the Colbert Nation
This was fun and Stephen showed some real restraint there when the Iguana peed on his desk *lol*
Well done Steven, good sport! Coyote had a great appearance as well
Okay but that lizard was just chilling on Stephen's neck at the end and it was magic
Respect for this dude for entering the bite zone.
Hey what about will ferrell? He brought in “dangerous” animals. 😂
I like it how coyote gets the bananas out of nowhere XD
Coyote Peterson is a hero to my daughters. Thank you for having him on your show.
Charlie Kelly's even more insane brother
It's so good to see a late night host who isn't a complete coward around animals.
Ouchie ouchie - itchy itchy , do that anymore!! 🕷🐜🐜🤨😫🤓
Other tonight show hosts make a scene about everything, he just straight touches it. So nice
Stephen was so not happy lol
Young and old audience, even with the Centipede, not a single swear.
Even when falling into the Teddy Bear Choya.
Legend.
Coyote EARNS his god damn clicks, Stephen! You respect that man...!
I still remember when he only had 50000 subscribers
Same
This is what you came here for 4:03
I love his channel! It's more than just sticking his arm out and letting things bite or sting him, he's a really knowledgeable wilderness fanatic and really enjoys the animals he handles. Well done Mr Colbert!
aaaaaAAAAAA
love Colbert, LOVE Coyote Peterson, this pleases me immensely!!
lmao! THAT WAS HILARIOUS!
Anoles are all over the Carolinas too,.. I'm sure he's seen one before. (my fav lizards, as it happens)
Stephan's patience with this guy seems fleeting
Stephen doin' a little old-school Letterman-style "this animal is humourously gross or scary to me" action. Stephen, next BRING BACK TOP TEN and WILL IT FLOAT!!!!!
I used to make Anoles bite my earlobes and just hang there like earrings when I was little! So many memories!
That was fun! I could never be scared of that little green guy - he was too cute!
Ingeborg Anne Rakvåg They're all over the southeast. That bite is a pinch and sometimes they hang on.
Charlie Day has a weird side-gig.
Welp.. Colbert missed the opportunity but a good thing whoever names these videos picked up the slack. XD
I am a 22 year old functional human being and I can fully admit that it was with watching Coyote's channel that I lost my phobia of insects
Also I did not read the title of the video and I absolutely lost it when the iguana peed all over the desk
Also Colbert thank you for being so sporting! I watched Coyote on another talk show (not gonna name names but rhymes with monan) where the host was really not having any of it -_-
I love Brave Wilderness and
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert :)
10/10 best Colbert segment ever
Stephen Colbert giving the underrated the attention they earned and deserve!
Stephen is so much smarter than the average host and it shows. His comments, questions and jokes are very calculated and he prioritizes the guest
4:03 until 4:06
I can't stop watching ≧∇≦😆
