RE: PAUSING, EXPRESSIONS & AIR-INSTRUMENTS:
Please be mindful that we will pause (we prefer to react in the moment & to avoid copyright strike), we will react with enthusiasm, smiles, tears, conversation, exchanged looks and air-instruments. We are expressive by nature and are truly very quirky in every sense of the word. This is who we are and this is what we’ve got to offer. We understand it may not be for everyone, but here's to hoping you all enjoy and we absolutely love positive comments and feedback.
RE: LIVE VERSIONS vs STUDIO:
Check out why we haven't uploaded any live versions... yet. They will be coming, we promise!

Vocal wise this is a world class masterpiece. I’m a Danish Pantera fan but I’m also a Danish known opera Singer. Trained for 20 years. I would never be able to sing like this, and I make a living of singing.
I find that interesting
Phil was unique. He had various vocal techniques and a really wide range. I love all kinds of vocals.
Phil couldnt hit that note again after '92. Whiskey and weed, baby.
@@quinnosborn3441 What is Phil supposed to sing in 2023?
@@HenryGamingYT19 suicide note part 2
She wasn't the only who cried, this band means so much to me, they were the best during his Era and even today they are the best musicians you will ever heard.
“The Sleep” IMO is one of Dimebags best solos 🤘🏼
The Best..he imprinted his soul into The Sleep
100% this..My favorite Dime solo
One of Dime's best solos and a very underrated song.
Fuck ya it is
It’s bad ass
I was lucky to see Pantera on the Cowboys from Hell tour. Dimebag was insanely good.
Me too, I saw them in 96 when i was 16 years old...total bummer we had to leave early as one of the guys i was with got dropped on the back of his head but I got to see Becoming so it was worth it
@@adamdavis2760 How did he get dropped on his head? Was he crowd surfing?
Floods .
Pantera song Hollow your wife would like that song it's very emotional.🤘
Thanks for the suggestion man, I'll have her check it out! Thanks for watching our video and hope to see you back again. :) - Nick
The greatest band of all time. All the great ones last about a decade and then something happens. Rest in Peace Dime and Vinnie.
You gotta do The Sleep by Pantera ! She’ll love the solo if she loved this one man !!
Thanks for the suggestion, we’ll be sure to add it to the list!! :) - Lex
@@NicknLex you should check out clash with reality, attack the radical and a new level as well. All are incredible songs but I must warn you they are much heavier then cemetery gates
I'm glad your wife love it. Pantera always has been one of my favorite bands of all times. Especially this gem album! Hugs guys from Chile 🇨🇱 🤗
Saludos cálidos! :)
Rip dime the best guitar player ever
If you want to get blown away, give a listen to " Becoming" from Pantera!
It sounds like the guitar is lifting weights or to that effect.
Great reaction!
Such an emotional song, the anger in the lyrics, the amazing solo by DD... This song always brings me to tears as soon as the solo starts...
Thank you for reacting to the full version. Adds so much complexity to the song.
Great song but it does get old seeing people play the same few Pantera songs. Here's a few gems from them:
Strength beyond strength
Shedding skin
Regular people
most regular people would say, that's hard. but any streetwise son of a bitch knows, don't fuck with this.
The Art of shredding is one of my all time favourites 😁🤟
@@leebunn3619 category of minority...now what are we supposed to be?
Lot's of "Reaction" channels rely on the input of reaction channel viewers and limit the scope of song greatly. Deep cuts are where it's at.
One of the best metal band to take the stage in my opinion R.I.P. dime and Vinnie...Get your pull...C.F.H
With regards to Phil’s vocal style, he did take influence with Rob Halford of Judas Priest; however, a band from Phil’s home town of New Orleans called Exhorder features (and still does) a lead singer named Kyle Thomas, whom Phil took MASSIVE influence from. Check out the records, “Slaughter in the Vatican” and “The Law.” The latter has a cover of Sabbath’s “Into the Void” that will blow your mind! Enjoy!
Great vid! some other pantera songs I think you would like:
Cowboys from hell
Domination - live Moscow ’91
I’m broken
A new level
Regular people

Floods

Mouth for war

Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching and for suggestions - stay tuned for more! :) - Lex
I don’t know much of Panteras music but this is unquestionably one of the most EPIC songs ever performed…..pure emotion!!!!!! I have always been moved by this song. It is amazing to me how an artist or a band can tap into one of those rare moments when their creation transcends the normal and become truly special! 🤘
This song always brings tears to my eyes.
I agree with you 100% on dream theater's singer. I really wish he could do some grittier singing at some parts of their songs. It's all just to clean and soft for me.
Same here. James LaBrie is the main reason with my love/hate relationship with DT. Love the music but just can’t stand that voice... and lyrics tend to be corny sometimes.
FINALLY!!! A reaction video for this song that has the intro!!! YASSS!!!
Dog at 2:57 does the scoot on the rug while the parents are busy lol
Pantera for life \m/
Beyond fantastic...dime was absolutely one of the best. ..EVER!!
I'm 56 years old and I have seen Pantera umpteenth time. I just went and saw them again last weekend of the Pennsylvania. They did a tribute to the Avett Brothers that was absolutely great. Feel still sounds great in the band still sounds great.
Seen them in concert several times in the 90's. They are missed. R.I.P Abbott brothers.
Great reaction. Loved it. Thank you guys.
This is exactly what I wish Dream Theater had”….I used to say this all the time! As much as I love and respect James, I wish he had more fry/edge like Phil.
Glad to see a couple acting like friends or buddies, great reaction!
2023 Pantera rulessss¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ Dimebag peace bro
Great video y'all! Keep em coming. Btw I've finally learned how to play the pinched harmonics in the main lick of the song! It's a great song and y'all had a great reaction. Glad your wife liked the song!
awe snap!!! here we go !! lets do IT. THANKS YOU GUYS
Gods Texas Metal !! 🤘
Hey Nick and Lex, wanted to drop a quick line to let you all know that I came across you about a month-and-a-half ago when I checked out one of your Rush reaction videos. After watching a couple more I subscribed immediately. I don't spend a lot of time online but when I do get on I like to check you all out now. Just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy you guys. It's so good to see young ones (I don't know how old you-all but you seem like young'uns to me since I was born at the end of 1962) sharing and enjoying good music with everyone. Music is truly Universal. Just watched Lex's reaction to Pantera and I have to say that I was never really a big fan of theirs but that song is great. I remember hearing it when it first came out and thought it was okay. But I really enjoyed you all's reaction to it, especially Nick's reaction to the screams and the guitar at the end. Priceless! Anyway I could go on and on but I just wanted to pop in real quick and let you all know how much I enjoy you. Keep up the good work. Oh and by the way, I agree with Lex onthe singer of Dream Theater, hahaha. He's a great singer but to me he doesn't sync up with the music as well as someone else might. Peace ✌
Kudos for the album version
its so good to see this music appreciated for the art it is......
One of the most badass songs from one of the most badass bands ever! I love these two! I could watch them all day. Lol
"I'm Broken" is another badass jam by Pantera. BADASS!
She’s right on point with that dream theater remarque…
Esa sonrisa y el: No mi amor
Jajaja fue muy tierno, saludos desde Colombia
As a metalhead I appreciate that you're showing the music you like to your wife, metal is a feeling and hope you both can enjoy that feeling for equal
Love pantera.
I was lucky to see them in concert in 93 in Sydney as a teen.
Best ever.
Still listen to pantera.
U should listen to the song piss.
Great band
RiIP. dimbag and vinnie
Beautiful reaction 🤘🔥🤘 now following!!!
Dime was the best guitarist to ever live In my book. I got to go back stage a few times after their shows. When I was 15 my brother took me to my first Pantera show in Cincinnati. White Zombie opened. Dime gave me one of his Cowboys From He’ll pics and I still have it 32 years later!
love the air guitar pinch harmonics
Wow you guys this was very earlier in your reaction career, I've watched a lot of your videos but I have to ask where did this Nick n Lex disappear to? You were both very expressive. Thoroughly enjoyed your reaction to this song. I was surprised that I liked a Pantera song too cool excellent song. Now I have to look for your other Pantera reactions to see if just them that brings this out in you guys!!!
That solo is killer🔥
12:50 the eternal squeal
hahahaha...I fully agree with Lex, about the singer of Dream Theatre having the sound of Phil!!....🌷💖
Still my favorite Pantera song ❤👍👍
You mean this🤘
Pantera was what got me from hard rock to metal. Always fond memories.
Same Brother!
Try we’ll meet again by pantera. It’s really old pantera before they went really heavy, I’m not a huge fan of the old sound but the solo is one of my favs by dime.
Couldn't agree more with Lex about James Labrie.
I love Pantera so it's great for me seeing people reacting to any of their songs, please do Hollow or Domination amazing songs.. Love your project!
How about DOM/HOLLOW from their Grammy Nominated, GOLD certified Official Live 101 Proof album?
@@integrity101 absolutely yes... Nick please have Lex enjoying more Pantera, this one is such a good recomendation. I am biased to be honest, Pantera is my favorite band ever so any Pantera song is greaaaat :3
@@lindanazarethmares9356
No one ever does the live album and its my 2nd favorite one. Also i think Dom/Hollow is better than Domination or Hollow.
omg hollow please
Dime never left Pantera. Phil did to do work with his solo acts.
Dime and his brother Vinny were always and will always be Pantera.
And yeah labrie of DT sounds like if Rush and Styx had a love child.
😃👍🙏💛☯️🌞💯🤘🔥
Let ur lass make her own decison!!
RIP Dimebag and his brother Vinnie... Never forgotten
From Metal magic to Reinventing the steel PanterA got heavier , would y'all react to THE GREAT SOUTHERN TRENDKILL , ive never heard a album start like dat ! 4real
Random subscribe from Colchester, England.
Dime was a friend of mine. One of the nicest guys.
Now you just reacted to s band near my stomping grounds!
The Cowboys from Hell!!
PANTERA!!🤘🤘🤘
Hollow 🤘
I was lucky enough to see them in 1997 in Denver at Ozzfest. Type O Negative was there also! Also Marilyn Manson but of course Marilyn Manson always toured with Ozzy and got second billing to Ozzy's bands because Sharon Osbourne was his manager at the time
Wow that was a amazing reaction!!! Thank you both ...this reaction totally made me a subscriber !! This was so much appreciated!! Black sabbath ...sabbath bloody Sabbath would also be a great reaction ....thank you so much once again .!!
Thanks for joining us! We appreciate your wonderfully positive comment; we’re so happy to have you! Great suggestion! - Lex :)
Hey Guys!!! I Agree with Her... Dream Theater NEEDS a Singer with a More Raspy , Ballsy Voice Sometimes!!!
Used to see these guys twice a month in a local club in Houston from pre-Phil Anselmo days all the way through Cowboys from Hell (and partied with them at their hotel many times). Was cool to see them take off and then sad to see what happened to them
I understand what she means about Dream Theater’s vocalist..
Bridget LaJames is and has always been DT‘s weak link. Alexa, I‘m on your side. :)
That title brought me here!
I would appreciate you doing some of later Pantera songs, or perhaps Down. Also Phil has a new awesome project- En Minor, that one is great in so many ways.
The guitar squeals you guys said you love so much, they're called pinched harmonics. Great trick, has been around since maybe 50's or 60's, gradually got more popular, and really exploded in the 80's when shred became the word of the day (e.g. Tony MacAlpine - Hundreds Of Thousands - killer track!). Lot of credit goes to Zakk Wylde obviously!
All recommend logic stuff from pantera....I recommend avoid the light...one of most underrated pantera stuff
All ways makes me cry miss u dime n Vinnie u may be gone but are immortal in the hearts of ur fans n ur music i hope to meet u in the halls of Valhalla until then I raise my horn in a toast
Watched em open for Sabbath. Do not compare anyone from Pantera to anyone else. They were on a different level. Best damned show I ever saw
I like James Labrie especially on early DT stuff, I do absolutely agree it would be cool if he had more METAL to his vocal repertoire.
Dream theater once cover this song at live perform
25 years
Floods isn’t my favorite song but is my favorite dime solo
Dream Theater would sound SO much cooler with Phil on vocals. She's totally correct.
Can she do them without you in the room?
Gotta do Hollow by Pantera next.
Dimebag didn't leave Pantera - he and Vinnie basically decided it was over due to others not coming to the table, and broke the band up essentially. They began damage plan to continue playing and it was on tour Dome was murdered onstage, by a schizophrenic Pantera fan who held Dime (and possibly Vinnie Paul) in contempt for the band's demise (or so I can tell). Rest in Power to both, and they are sorely missed in today's metal world more than ever.
Tambien hablan en ingles aaaaaaaaabuenooooooo👏👏👏👏 nose que me trajo a sus videos pero hace tiempo los veo y me caen re bien. El primero que vi fue la reaccion de sucio y desprolijo.
AGUANTE BOCA
The sleep has dimebags best solo (arguably) and its on the more judas priest type sound as well so it won't blow her socks off with heaviness lol
Sounds great! Thanks for the suggestion and for joining us! :) - Lex
Well meet again.....its pre cowboys from hell and its on their powermetal album.....and yes it is Dime who plays that solo.
@@pinzgauerbelgium yes indeed it's one of his best
Dream over Pantera singing??????? Yes Pantera
"Good friends and a bottle of pills"
This is the song for reaction videos. Anyone not a fan have never heard it. Check it out.
Phil can't sing like this anymore. But I am still a huge fan of his
Dream Theater on the Awake Album is the only DT Album I somehow like the vocals, because it’s a little more aggressive.
If you want her to dig Dream Theater
Give her a reaction to On the backs of angels , Best of times ,Count of Tuscany or Endless Stream.
Panetta cover of Planet caravan has an awesome solo by the God that was. R.I.P DIME.🤘🤘🤘🤘🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸

Super Joint Ritual
Dimebag Darrel is (not was) unmatchable.
When your drinkin on some Jim beam or jack daniels, 1 of 2 things will happen. You either play some hank Williams jr. or you play pantera. There’s no in between. And if you’re in your feelings, you play cemetery gates. Much love to pantera for releasing this absolute banger. Dimebag wrote his guitar parts to this song totally trashed on whiskey. I intend to jam to this song in the same fashion out of respect for the late, great metal guitar god that he was, and always will be.
Rebel meets rebel. DAC
holaaa buenas noches de ustedes dos quien toca la guitarra jeje? Saludos desde Peru me encantan sus reacciones!!! sigan asi
Es Nick y hay varios videos en el canal tocándola. Saludos
As soon as he points as his throat she automatically stops and says how much she likes his vocals. Obvious cues for her to say something.
Don't worry, love. Every Dream Theater fan wishes Labrie wasn't there either :)
You say they were really young when they created this, but not really! This is the fifth Pantera album! The first was recorded when Darrell was only 16 years old in 1983.
THAT IS INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Try HOLLOW, guys from Vulgar display of power, by the way Dimebag was a GOD !!🤘🤘🤘
Lástima que no estan los subtítulos en español, ya lo disfrutaba mejor. 🇦🇷
Floods by Pantera please.
