    I have had a driveway with a steep grade that was exposed to winter weather. It was not a fun existence when it got icy. Looking at your situation, possibly consider putting in a retaining wall and bring in fill so the slope from the garage entrance to the back of the driveway is not so extreme.

    The throughput on the seed treatment machine is impressive..(.i.e. the atomizer inner cone spraying the seed dump outer cone) and the fact that the seed doesn't stick together after processing.

    happy belated labor day nathan insulation looks good at least you dont have the issue i have of squirrels knocking all yours down from the ceiling i am at the point to where im not even puting it back up because it just ends back up on the floor next morining also the first 3-4 inches of fork are almost never carrying any weight so the drilling should be fine

    Do the chemicals have a use by date on them? Is your wife a farm girl? Where did you meet her. Is one of the boys more into farming than the other? Love your show, look forward to it every day. God bless you and the whole farm family!

      These chemicals don't really have an expiration date, some do, especially biologicals. Met my wife though some friends., she's not really a farm girl. They're both into farm but the older one definitely enjoys it more.

    Hey Nathan, i've seen a video from a french farmer who does irrigation via drip lines. This strikes me as less labor than maintaining the traveler the whole season since you only have to install it once. It seems to have somme positives like fewer pests due to less moisture above the ground, less evaporation and water usage, and therefore lower fuel cost for the pump, etc. What do you think about it?

    Every farm forklift has that modification…..probably cost about 1/2 lb. lift capacity…..That or you have destroyed the temper and it will fall off….

    9:57 that PAN FULL of DIFFERENT VARITIES could make that poor farmer wonder why some of the stuff RIGHT THERE in that one part of the field had plants that grew a FOOT WHOLE FOOT TALLER than the plant NEXT TO IT WAS!!! just that one spot!!! it was weird!! well it could be that .....mixed samples.... ;) right????? that's a thing right? or COULD be a thing.... also, kinda would suck if one had to be treated ONE WAY and other varity hadda be treated with that OTHER CHEM after emergance.... well that may not be a thing but would suck if it was!

    13:45 WHERE THE FALL of the driveway gunna be, MAKE A DECK RIGHT THERE OVER THE FALL WHERE the boys can PARK THEIR BUGGY and stuff.... ...you even COULD make a ''turnaround pad, keep it up next to the house go OUT A WAYS and along the wall a bit, then the drop would be higher, STILL put a DECK where they can park their stuff, and if it is RAISED ENUF they would have a SHELTERED PARKING GARAGE UNDER but, your seed building is a pretty nice garage.... if ya didn't have that, or if the DECK gocart parking ararea sounds like you wanna more info and my description went wonky, it often does, I CAN DRAW IT UP FOR YOU !! I SEE IT IN MY HEAD.... oh wait, that may involve retaining walls.... hummm

    RE: WAGONS LOOK FULLER after treating...
    wouldn't also couldn't it be kinda thing, that wheat been sittin in the wagon for ''A WHILE'' waitin for this very moment, and ''settles a littlebit'' THEN when you run thru the treater it ''fluuufs'' it up kinda like a pillow making the ends all kinda directions, not just the way they been sittin for week(S) or wutever... ??? seems back in my head saying something about ''agitation could make that illusion even more'' .....FOR SCIENCE if it wouldn't damage the seed, I PROLLY WOULD HAVE TO TRY A DRY RUN with my wagon of wheet that been sittin ''FOR A WHILE'' and verify if it is just an aggatation rearragening FLUFFYING OF THE PILLOW kinda thing, and see if it MAKES MY WAGON OF SEED seem FULLLER without treatment, just a dry run... BUT ..... ;) if any DAMAGE TO PRODUCT would occure with said test, wouldn't be worth it jus something *I* would HAVE TO TRY specially since you have said that MORE THAN JUST THIS VIDEO!!!

      @@BorderViewFarms oh no they are round so there goes that theory cool thanks! length rearrrangement illusion thing, still could be setteling?? maybe its the WEIGHT of the top half is squishing the bottom quater or 10% down there at the bottom, and flippin it over (treating it) makes it back it's normal size??? eh... i am hopeing its a perspective thing lol

      Yes being a little bigger with treatment on them and a little stickier they are fluffed up with more air spaces by the time they get back to there farm they will get bounced around and settle to near original volume!

    • @alexmikhael5061
      @alexmikhael5061 2 роки тому

      @@markpontes4457 like FLUFFYING UP the pillow then??? COOL!!! :) I know he has said that a couple times about the wagons comming in and goin out, out looking ''fuller'' but it was SAME EXACT SEEDS
      they are not gettin chewed up in the machine or there would be PASTE in there sommware, right??? lol VOLUME always amazed me, I would always say ''it's a combination of many things, but that container is allways full 100%'' to the teeches they would get mad but 100% AIR = ''empty'' to most, but not me, and that can't be counted as ''incorrect'' and they would get mad and make my questions harder, I would just hunt down the answer, gotta do what we gotta do lol ;)
      but I would always be ''what are we putting INTO THESE SQUARE FEET, or CUBIC FEET???'' they were always ''THAT DOES NOT MATTER!!!'' i was like YES IT DOES!! lol hahahahahaha then I would mention DENSITY, and again.... not able to claim I was incorrect lol
