Lufthansa has a true first class. All these American first class seats are just like premium economy. It is a huge scam. But a Lufthansa and Air France are two great example of a proper first class flight. Air France only has four first class seats in the whole plane.
I did business class in British Airlines and it was very private. I was able to recline all the way back, had a sliding door that blocked me off from the walkway and a door between the person on the other side.Great experience
There's also premium economy. On my flight back from Japan I did premium economy because reg economy was so horrible on the way out. The aisles are only 2 seats deep instead of 3, and your seat reclines more, though not all the way. Meal service is better, but you do have to use the regular economy toilets.
I only fly American, Delta or KLM and I always fly where the seat lays down 180 degrees and where you sit on your own; don’t care whether it’s called business or first class.
Just because a person don't get a first class ticket does mean they are poor maybe they have the money n choose economy cause it's ridiculous what they charge for a ticket road tripping is better IMO
@@gigiamharic468 they might just want to save 25k. It’s kinda a waste as if you wanted a comfortable seat, business will do fine for cheaper. Or maybe they just wanted to save some money for later or just in case. Rich people still save money, it still doesn’t grow on trees, even for (most) rich people.
@@gigiamharic468 you are aware that rich person are cheap right? Why would you spend $25k on a plane ticket? That seems like a waste of money that could be spent on something else
It’s a plane flight, I know even if I were making good money that I wouldn’t purchase a first class ticket every time. It’s honestly a waste of money unless your someone who needs extra leg room + comfort.
So translated into normal people. First class: overpriced as shit, the champagne , three course meal and shower don’t make your flight go any faster. Business is great, gets you lounge access, priority security and better seats, also often forgotten: enough place to store overhead luggage. Economy is perfectly fine aswell, however I recommend booking the seats next to the emergency exit. At most airlines this will cost between 30/80€ and will double leg room.
I know the differences. My wife and I go on tour when The Rolling Stones go on tour. We are very hard core fans, and so we usually go economy plus if we fly to Europe because I have to have leg room. If we follow the tour in the US we usually book all our flights with Southwest. We have discovered a way for my wife and I to get the middle seat of 3 seats for free. That’s right; for FREE. Thus we can put all our junk and food in the empty seat and I can turn slightly and stretch out my legs. Most of the flights are full and as passengers board they see our empty middle seat and want to sit there. But we have posted the boarding pass for that seat on the chair back and tell them it’s taken. The flight attendants will sometimes come over and confirm it to the enquiring passenger, and so it’s easily taken care of. After the flight we get our money (or miles) back immediately. Over 24 flights we save a ton of money and have good comfort at a lot less than first class on another airline. That saved money helps us with our hotel and ticket costs for the Stones tour. We usually stay at the same hotel as the band and we often bump into members of the band and their support staff. And kids of the band as well, who we have watched grow up. These kids know us now and I often get photos with them and a good visit. So traveling by air cheaper really pays off. Southwest wins because we will travel with them exclusively in the US. We win because we save so much money on the free middle seat. When flying you really have to watch the details. My wife keeps logging in and reviewing our flight tickets because she often sees the cost of our tickets has gone down. She immediately rebooks the same flight with the new lower cost. The airline deals with that all the time and are easily cooperative. Of course I would love to fly 1st class everywhere, but we literally save thousands the way we book. It is so valuable to us when we bump into Mick Jagger or Keith Richards and they have their families with them. We are tight with their security guys because we have known them a long time. So you can pick the best deal possible when flying, you just need to know all the best strategies.
I've flown first class a few times. It's just not worth it to me. Especially for domestic flights I'll never do that again. My last first class ticket was free and I felt scammed especially when I had to sit in that first row behind the bulkhead
I remember when there were just two classes, first class and coach. Coach was nice-the seats were wide, but not 'Murican wide, and they fed you semi-gourmet food like lobster thermidor. It was a low tech time, but they did show a movie that you could rent headphones for. First class had better seats, more food, and almost no children, though my mom and I did get bumped up one time when I was still a pre-teen. Oh, and both classes had free check-ins for your luggage. Deregulation has a lot to answer for.
The whole reason why they call it first class is cause first class domestically is JUST business. The terms are interchangeable for DOMESTIC FLIGHTS. Sincerely, an actual travel agent.

United can make more money by using the space on their planes for economy plus and premium. upselling those cheaper upgrades to the masses is the plan
Even if I can afford em I'll have a rule that economy for short flights, business for long ones, first class for really long flights like to the other face of planet
In China airlines if you get business class on a big plane which according to my experience has only been once it is much better than what is shown in the video I get she says it's inter Europe but there is like a first class seats with private rooms recliner seats a ton of moveable lights overall I've never been on a first class but a big China Airline flight in business is the best

I show emirates here.
@@LAXtoLuxury ah right sorry I wasn’t looking properly I’m very sleep deprived
😂
Here in New Zealand we also have cocoon class
It’s where you literally get put inside a luxury cocoon
I started investing into business class flights. It’s way better 😊
The 5 star first-class cabin is as big as my bedroom…
The last one with the bed Tho😮
United doesnt have first class anymore. Business is their top tier now. As someone who has frequented first and business, there is nary a difference even the most seasoned flyer will notice. United can make more money by using the space on their planes for economy plus and premium. upselling those cheaper upgrades to the masses is the plan
Nice information
Even if I can afford em I'll have a rule that economy for short flights, business for long ones, first class for really long flights like to the other face of planet
I just know that business class and first class is so much better than economy.
It doesn't need a middle class to fly. Save up a bit and everyone can do it. Anything else other than economy IS middle class or higher.
So first class = fancy, business class = room to stretch, & economy = regular
I'm more confused now. Awesome!
Dude bussines class is litterally first class in turkish airlines it looks identical
Quick answer:
Squished
Comfy
Homelike
In China airlines if you get business class on a big plane which according to my experience has only been once it is much better than what is shown in the video I get she says it's inter Europe but there is like a first class seats with private rooms recliner seats a ton of moveable lights overall I've never been on a first class but a big China Airline flight in business is the best
Easy
Economy-fair quality-
Business-Come on ur working deserve comfort
First class-😮
economy - normal price
business - usually free for ur business or expensive
first class - scam/very expensive
Idk what economy looks like that, I’m 6’3 and my knees touch the back of the seats and it hurts.
