They’re not normal wounds but they’re not necrotic. They’re infected but they’re not going to require amputation (yet). The truth is right in the middle of both sides, in my medical opinion

You and other CoD youtubers helped me get through a very dark period of my life. You helped me stay sane while incredibly depressed, suicidal and an addict. I guess I just wanted to thank you.

My uncle had the same/similar issue with his legs (Former truck driver who was obese before death and smoked a ton for years). It was caused by mainly poor circulation, as well as swelling from water retention. He had open wounds seeping pus, and his legs/feet looked just like the pic of blades. The required treatment is regular water circulation therapy, compression leggings, and definitely stopping the drinking. Maggot treatment can help with the necrotic tissue and promote new growth as well. He will 100% lose his legs and/or die if he does not seek treatment.

As far as blades foot. if he has diabetes and his blood sugar levels are too high it makes it almost impossible to heal cuts. How do i know i have type 1 diabetes that went undiagnosed for about 1 year, i would get minor cuts on my hand playing sports hockey,basket etc and it would take monthes to heal to the point where 4 monthes would go by and i would still have scabs for minor things.
I knew of this effect&symptom of diabetes existing, as part of general knowledge about a couple of the well known big diseases. ... but only now realise I have had this 'wounds taking months to even fully close' thing for a year now. Hmm.. might go check for other symptoms. This might be the first time in 10 years PKA leads to someone watching it being diagnosed and a life made better.

I lost sensation from my ulnar nerve in my left arm for the same reason. On set took a few years, healed in a few weeks if you pull yourself together. But that was just numbness and it scared me enough. This guy is unfortunate. But I get it.
