      It's literally a crime he's not Batman.. They should ditch the body armour and go for someone who's completely physically peaked (Scott) and use the skin tight comic book look which would also give the mobility.
      It's the one thing they get wrong in every Batman film.. the fighting. Even the ware house scene from BVS is amateurish compared to this.
      He's got the mix of styles to the acrobatics to the raw size and brutality.. throw in some ninja weapons and a cape and you'd have the best Batman action anywhere, EVER.

      @Paul Blackman painkillers and steroids don’t help against a shock towards the brain , tho steroids can help with neck muscles and nullify some force . It’s just because this is a movie , in reality with the bare knuckle blows the man was giving out , and the no block shots those boys were eating , Boykas hand would be mangled along with his wrist, and those 2 fighters with dislocated jaws and unconscious.

    • @oscarshen6855
      @oscarshen6855 2 роки тому

      Well that'sthe main difference between movie and real life, if you have seen real fights or even been in one, it just take one clear hit and you will be down for the count. In movies these guys just eat dozens of solid hit and still come back. If it's a real fight the fight should be over at 2:24, that's definitly a KO.

  • @a-blivvy-yus
    @a-blivvy-yus 3 роки тому +45

    On the "you can't block like that irl" part - I won't try and pretend I could do it, but I've seen it done before. it's *NOT* a good idea and the guy I saw do it said he didn't trust himself to do so anywhere near as consisently as blocking a single attack at once, but it can be done. If you're in that crazy danger situation sometimes you'll react in ways that aren't "realistic" to plan for in a fight and make it work. Also in movies, the trick isn't doing things that people are going to see and believe is realistic for a regular person - the trick is to sell you on the idea that *THIS PERSON* could pull it off - and if Boyka was a real person, he'd be the guy who could actually land that double block.

    • @acevfx2923
      @acevfx2923 2 роки тому +4

      Was about to say. I have seen it done before aswell. If you have trained and progressed for years and years and you're able to clear your mind and reach an optimal flow state, that's when your body is not solely reliant on visual triggers. However, it's still better to deal with multiple attacks 1 at a time by keeping one attacker in between the others so that they can't get to you.

    Greetings from Germany.....i'm a huge Bruce fan since 1977. But here in Germany we didnt had much footage, videos, private photos or stuff like that from him. Only the few movies(and there were cut)..including his 'last' 'Game of Death'..wich i hated..(so did Linda and the kids too). In the late eighties as DVD's grows bigger i could finaly watch his films uncut. Awesome..But as his lost footage of his 'Game of Death' was found and releast I was totaly blown away. Great that you discoverd his last masterpiece of work too...Bruce wanted Kareem so much for his movie. Kareem, of course, imidently fly to Asia for 2-3 weeks. The NBA,( didnt allowed him to go, insurence reasons), was totaly upset. But what a genious, in many ways, Bruce was, is awesome...he did everything...the coreography, the directing, the different angle camera work, Cut & Editing, Soundtrack, storybook, etc..
    I'm a dry alcoholic, sober since 2010...and the philosophie of Bruce helped me so much. And still does.. thanks Bruce...i wish you a peaceful start in a new week and Stay Safe, my friend...(oh, one more thing...i can't wait for your Kareem reaction😊😊✌)

    When you said "Oh, just kicks him off", I think that was absolutely the very best thing he could've done. (4:35) in a 1v2, you definitely do NOT want to waste ANY time on the ground, even if you cacn hurt one of them. I'm guessing. No experience with it, but it seems logical to not want to be on the ground

      Yeah, spot on with that. Doesn't matter how good you are at ground fighting, you get on the ground, it's the absolute worst. Cause if you're in a clinch, there's nowhere for the momentum to go, so if the other guy kicks you in the head, you might end up taking the room temperature challenge.

    I love that you have a Dragon Ball Z boxset
    Now it's not that you can't use two guns at once.... it's just adjectivally pointless
    With guns you use one hand to stabilize the gun and the other to shoot.
    Using only one hand give less control of the gun and makes you far less actuate.
    Then there's the fact that the human mind can only travel in a single direction.
    It is possible to use two guns at one time but the level training, and natural talent you need to do it is so insane it's mostly impossible.

    Finally someone who shares my opinion of Scott Adkins being an underrated action star. He's done some great movies - but also some lame ones.
