Written note for leaves so I don’t have to keep rewinding 😊 slip knot, ch 16 (10 for branch, 6 for leaf (4 dc in fourth chain from hook, 1 tr, ch 1 picot, 4 dc, ch 3, slst) slst over next 2 ch ch 8 (for branch) repeat until you have 4 leaves
Wow, this is so cute! I love how you incorporated the mini hanging money plant into a crochet car plant. Your creativity is amazing! Keep up the great work and I can't wait to see more of your crochet projects.
this is the most smooth and enjoyable project I have completed, Thank you for the detailed narration and very clear explanation, please continue spreading your creativity.😍☺
I absolutely adore this crochet mini hanging money plant! It's not only cute but also such a unique and creative idea to add a touch of greenery to our cars. We sent you an email, please take a look.
You will have to play around with it. You can yarn over 4 times instead of three times where in the pattern it calls for three yarn overs. Basically add an extra yarn over and pull through. This will make it bigger. If you want the leaves way bigger, you will have to play around with it yourself and add extra yarn overs and make the leaves longer by adding extra stitches into the same hole.
Very nice! My only problem is that ch1 you have to slip back under at the tip of the leaf turns out ugly and looks knotted, not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Hi, I love this pattern! Do you hve any tips on how to help the leafs lie more flat? Mine all curl up. Do you think I'm just using too much tension? Thank you :)
You are welcome dear!! Have a look at my latest video as well, you may like it since it’s a very easy pattern as well. ua-cam.com/video/KBCQrRv9ZNY/v-deo.html
I’ve been loving watching your hanging plant videos.. your work is beautiful! Do you have a tutorial on creating the loop/hanger portion of the basket? The part that would hook onto something allowing the plant to hang, hope that makes sense.. I’ve been struggling finding a video on that! Thank you!! 💜
Hey hi, thank you so much. Yes I do have a video which shows how to make the basket and the hoop,I think I have mentioned in the description as well. Sharing here as well: ua-cam.com/video/MWMznDN6zl4/v-deo.html Hope this is helpful. 😊❤️
I might be overthinking this, but part of the pattern is not making sense to me. When turning to make the leaves along the other side, your pattern says to slst 4 stitches, then chain 6 for the leaf. Make the leaf in the 4th stitch from the hook, slst 2 to make the stem, then slst 9, four on the branch, one in the top of the leaf and 4 in the branch to get to the spot to make the next leaf. My issue is after the slst 2 to make the stem on the first leaf on the other side, I have six stitches on the branch before the top of the leaf. What am I doing wrong? Ch 8 to make the branch coming from the last leaf along the side. Ch 6 to start the leaf. 8+6=14. In 4th loop from hook, follow leaf pattern. 14-4=10. Slst 4 stitches. 10-4=6. Ch 6 to start new leaf. 6+6=12. In 4th leaf from hook, follow leaf pattern. 12-4=8. Slst in next 2 stitches to make stem. 8-2=6. According to the pattern, I should be making 4 slst before the top of the leaf but there are six stitches until the top of the leaf. I’m sorry if this is confusing! I tried to explain it the way my brain is processing it. Thank you for your help. 😊
I watched closely in the video when you did the leaf at the end of the vine before turning and it looks like you did 8 ch for the branch and 4 ch for the leaf, which would make sense since you aren’t doing the slst 2 for the stem. So then you would slst 4 along the 8 ch of the branch, leaving 4 remaining stitches for the beginning of the 9 slst.
@@melissawalters1655 Hey hi, I am sorry about the confusion. I might have missed to mention it, the top most leaf will be 8+4, since we don’t need the stem part. I will pin a comment so people can get this information. Thanks for pointing out. 😊❤️
is there a written pattern? I am lost on the stitch count once you are doing the top tow of leaves on the 2nd vine part before the finale. .How many chains do you do before the next leaf on that side (after 13.54)?
I am planning on publishing the written pattern soon. U need to make 6+10+6( total 22) chains before u start making the leaf for the second vine. Hope this helps.
@@MakeItYourselfByPapari thank you for your reply!! how do i send you a picture so you can tell me if I'm doing it right? I want to add a 3rd or 4th "vine".
@@MakeItYourselfByPapari Ok. will do. I finished the green and sewed to the brown so I don't know if you can see things but what is confusing is all the 10, 9,6, 8, etc. The leaves are easy, no issue with the leaves. it's the top part of all the "branches" It is also confusing when you say vine, branches, etc. I know what the stem part is (2 ss). I like your pattern as it is more realistic otherwise I would use one of the easier ones but all the leaves are fake looking as they go down in a row not altered. If that makes sense?

I recommend learning the foundational stitches first by doing projects that are beginner friendly. Making a cotton square rag as a first project is a solid choice for many people. I also think making simple blankets and scarves are good too. Choosing projects you love, but don’t overwhelm you with too much all at once is a good choice. These things help you understand and learn how to control your stitch tension and memorize what the foundational stitches are. You will also learn how to keep your rows even and where you should be inserting your hook. Eventually with enough practice it will become very easy to do, just gotta keep at it. Good luck! 🙂
@@ITSJUSTMEKASSI recommend pausing and rewinding in the video each time you are stuck. If this doesn’t help, you may need to do some projects that are more beginner friendly in order to learn your foundational stitches. I also recommend making a small cotton rag, scarves, blankets, or whatever you would love to make that won’t overwhelm you to quickly. Once you have practiced and understand your foundationals like second nature, that is when it is a good idea to start challenging yourself to do more advanced projects. An advanced crocheter can follow this video very easily and I have confidence that if you keep at it, you will be able to come back here and speed through it like it’s nothing. Note: Small correction, for the top most leaf, we need to ch8+ch4. Ch8 is for the branch and ch 4 for the leaf.

slip knot, ch 16 (10 for branch, 6 for leaf
(4 dc in fourth chain from hook, 1 tr, ch 1 picot, 4 dc, ch 3, slst)
slst over next 2 ch

do we chain 8 for branch then do another 16? I am getting lost on the upper (last few leaves part).
