@@DustyTrailsMTB Honestly not worth it. It is mostly rated harder because of the deadly creek crossings, and the climb SUCKS.

@@DustyTrailsMTBas far as sanctioned trails go, Farlow Gap is definitely more challenging. Pilot Rock in Mills River and Beehive in Wilson Creek are at least in same ballpark.

@@DustyTrailsMTBit’s amazing. Better than Brevard IMO if you can deal with it very off the grid. No cell, power, water, houses, gas stations… nothing but forest and trails.

I rode it yesterday, and struggled HARD! It's such a tough gatekeeper!

I haven't been home to CO in a minute, so I'm not sure how their policies on e-bikes have changed. I do know they weren't super friendly towards e-bikes in the past. I can ask some friends for suggestions.

Heck yeah dude! This ride is mint! You can also get to the bottom of Avery and head back up to Bennet. Tho that trail is sooo rowdy that it would be harder to hang on towards the end!

Dude! What a spot to live eh? You've got yourself something special there! I appreciate the compliment, but I think the gopro hides a lot of my poor technique! But I had a blast! I actually rode Barn Berner, but couldn't figure it out! I was casing everything, or just getting g otherwise wonky. I was going to include it in the video for humility's sake, but ended up cutting it for time. I need to keep working on my jumps. Seems like bentonville is a good spot for that 🤔

There are a few really tricky parts with - I would say- pretty serious consequence. But those sections are all pretty walkable. Still don't let the GoPro affect fool you the trail in its entirety is difficult, steep and chunky. It's a Colorado Backcountry black diamond. But it's manageable and beautiful and fun

That's super hard to answer without more context. I'm in Whistler at the moment, and the kids here make me look like i still have training wheels on - so yeah, they would stomp this. But I wouldn't take my friend's kid down this. What type of riding does your kid like? The climb to the top is pretty tough. - it's a long moderate pitch, with a few really punchy bits towards the top, but it's all doubletrack with no obstacles. The trail itself is well groomed, and anything scary can be walked, though it is a high speed trail, so. you'll want to be heads up. Hope this helps!

@@DustyTrailsMTB that was helpful, I think we’re about 2 years away from that for high speeds. Looking for fun trails in the area without high speed and cliffs.

@jimmy.oung.altig-organization The speed is all user generated. Nothing is too steep. And I don't think there was any exposure. I'd suggest you go give it a scout yourself! It's a super fun trail network. You won't be disappointed with how you spent the day! Plus, you can tell your partner that it was a scouting mission for your kid -not for you - and thus shouldn't count against your weekly ride allowance 😉
