Are all spindles replaceable or are some part of the axle? The spindle thread is stripped on mine and I hope I don't have to replace the whole axle. Thank you for your time.
Yes! Absolutely they are. Check out our website to look for the one that will match your axle! thetrailerpartsoutlet.com/pages/search-results?q=axle+spindles
@@TheTrailerPartsOutlet1 , thanks, but at 50s into the video, your guy talks about establishing the capacity of the axle by the bolt pattern. The 3.5k has two common configurations... 4x5 and 5x5, or something. What about other axle capacities? I get measuring the length of the hub faces and spring seats, but I guess I should also know how to tell the capacity.
@@GenericUserUnknown In this video we use the 3.5k axles as an example. For other capacities you are more than welcomed to call us and we can walk you through any information you need. The common bolt pattern for a 3.5K are 5x5 and 5x5.5. The 2K axles are more known for 4 bolts. We do appreciate the feed back and will get a video made on common bolt patterns for all capacities that we carry.
Take the capacity of your trailer, if you have a 3,500 lb capacity for example, subtract the dry weight of your trailer. Then you are left with the load weight you can haul. If you need any help give us a call: 936-349-6507
@@alexsgamingchannel3068did you figure out? I have the same measurement ls and I’m trying to determine the weight capacity and identify to potentially replace.

@@TheTrailerPartsOutlet1 cool thanks
Yes all spindles are replaceable , but is it worth the cost of the replacing the spindles or buy a new axle if the TUBE is bent .
Spindles are replaceable , but how big is your ck book if the axle tube is bent new axle is more cost efficient .
Good Stuff, Great Tips👍🏿😀
Appreciate it!
How about square tubing axle?
5-5 or 4-5 bolt pattern? Would have been nice if you explained how we know which we have.
We have a whole video here: ua-cam.com/video/0I9Vdvkrgq4/v-deo.html

How should I calculate Hauling capacity? Is the weight of the trailer frame deducted from that 3,500?

More like three ways to identify a 3500 lb axle.
True. These ways apply to all axles but the measurements will be different.
