  • Tommy Conway looks to have already nailed down a starting spot in Middlesbrough's starting XI. He played off Emmanuel Latte Lath and impressed against Preston but if those two are looking li ke certain starters, who starts on the flanks when everyone is fully fit?
Scott Wilson and Dom Shaw reflect on that Preston game and take an early look ahead to Sunderland, with a later preview video to come later in the week.

I don't think any places are nailed until you know all 4. The balance changed every time you add one in

If mcgree is fit I’d play him vs Sunderland for balance on the left, azaz didn’t offer no help to borges against Preston and Conway needs to start so azaz misses out for me

We are at home, and we couldn't even hardly create anything the 2nd half, Hackney and Azaz need to start scoring some goals to help out the team

It was a derby back jn the day so what’s changed? We understand it’s not the BIG derby from there point of view. There’s derby’s that are a lot further away than half an hour up the road in the country like Norwich Ipswich and Cardiff Swansea. Maybe Sunderland fans have got sick of losing to us so get that excuse in 😂

Yes, if S'land beat us every time it would be a derby. But they dont. Since 1974 I think Boro have won 75% of the matches.
