Confessions of a kitman: Southgate texts, Strachan telling off and Balotelli shirt secret
If Coventry are on song, it could be another win for them at the Riverside.
It was a very spursy performance by boro
Two worldies and a fuck up.
Wow! So does this mean that Errea have actually managed to produce a kit in time for when it was actually needed? Well done them!!! Think im going to get my turkey before my away kit. Great pod as usual chaps. We have plenty of leaders on the pitch but they are all too nice. What we need is a captain. Carrick doesn't seem to be able to prevent the next disaster during a game. Knew that equaliser was coming. His subs were odd to say the least.
Boro win
How does wearing a white kit make people aware of knife crime what a stupid idea
The trouble with Dieng he's to be laid back he needs to be more focused
When you watch the replay from the angle of the cross Dieng is 5 yards off his line 😅
The excuses for modern-day footballers are embarrassing he's 18 and needs resting, I played football for 15 years and never got taken off 😅😅
Same as Watford away we struggle to manage games late in games
Coventry, another bogey team just like Bristol City a couple of weeks ago
People calling for brynn, personally don’t think he’s ready didn’t look convincing with Lyon’s goal for u21 and his distribution isn’t great
Need more leaders on the pitch
Boro should have gone out and got Johansson from Rotherham in the Summer, impresses me every time we come up against him. He's a brilliant shot stopper and keeps his team in games as much as he can.
Sainz will get prem interest in Jan you’d imagine. Carrick doesn’t need to make the changes he does.
Thanks for the pod lads. Excellent as always and a lifeline for Boro fans living away from home.
We EASILY beat Norwich, just a shame we couldn't beat Sainz. The guy is a predator.
It’s a shame Chris Hansen wasn’t around to catch him and let us get 3 points
We are still making silly mistakes passing the ball to the opposition. We could have been 2 nil down in the first half if not for some last ditch defending. A much better performance in the second half and a fabulous ball from Azaz and Latte buried it. UTB
Azaz was man of the match. He was everywhere on the pitch. Splendid performance by the Irishman.
McGree creates Kaos balls and with it opportunities.
Fry and lenihan...who?
Its not just he looks to shoot. It's his movement and he looks to pass forwards
Sunderland are top with a manager in his 1st season?
So?
Conway played very well in my opinion and I think he’s a better option right now I’m still surprised he hasn’t done what he did with Chuba and Archer though as I think them two suit it massively One playing as a striker one playing behind in the 10! I think Azaz played fantastic last night but I’d rather jones on the left wing as Doak has the right on long down as clubs have us figured out but jones can quite easily play on the left they can switch sides then play Mcgree where Azaz plays But I honestly believe Jones on the left hand side so we have an actual attacking winger him and Doak can switch sides during the game it stops us being one dimensional as nobody else on the left other then Mcgree who’s our best player but clearly not a winger he’s better in the 10 and should be there!
Azaz gave the ball away, and Ayling saved a certain goal
You can't drop Lath after he just scored lol
3rd lowest scorers in the championship
Getting carried away because we won a game, let's see how we do against Norwich
Play with 2 strikers
Don’t think the stop/start helps with international breaks. Can see Boro going on a run soon and slapping someone.
If McGree plays I think he will score against Norwich, remember that scissor kick.
Scott "La-a-lath" Wilson 😀
Rarely a win before theses breaks, which are ruining football !
Never heard of Liam Manning but my prayers go out to him and his family.
1-1 draw. Rarely win after a break
We didn't go and buy a striker. We needed at least 2 more top proven goal scorers and still a out and out left winger
We can’t get that second goal cushion and we keep shooting ourselves in the foot.
It's interesting to note that the bookies have moved Boro from playoff contenders (4th or 5th) to automatic promotion contenders behind Leeds (2nd)
I think Dieng needs to look at himself for both of their goals, I think he should have at least saved the first one. His save percentage is the 4th worst in the league. We don't seem to be using him that much this season as that extra player at the back. I honestly think Brynn would improve us.
I support all our players but I said it at the end of last season that Latte Laths goals where a total flash in the pan and if we get offered anywhere near 15 to 20 million for him we’ve absolutely robbed someone he’s not a goal scorer he’s more of a 10 then Conway is as he has pace and a bit of trickery but he’s absolutely had us over big time as we thought we had found a new proper goal scorer which is certainly isn’t I’m afraid and I hope he proves me wrong but very unlikely said it from day one Azaz is extremely frustrating he looks good at times he’s tries a lot of passes and he puts in a lot of effort but not a chance is he the best number 10 we have at the club Conway is a lot better, Mcgree is originally a number 10 a far better player Hamilton is a better number 10 and looks more likely to break down defenses and it would be interesting to see Forss behind a striker! Hamilton also put on a great performance on the left wing I can’t fault him at all the young lad did great However if he doesn’t start regular we need a left winger and it seems like Carrick is happy with what we have Would anyone like to see Doak & Jones on opposite wings attacking and switching at times it’s something we haven’t tried and Jones is our best bet otherwise we are done as people will just double up on Doak and we lose that threat very soon to easy! Jones and Doak each side can cut in switch sides and Jones also will help us out massively in defense as well as going forward Mcgree in the 10 & Conway up top! Rav & Clarke at the back but will be interesting to see when fry and lenihan are fit though but Rav is starting! I’d give Forss a short after 60 minutes moving forward!
Too powderpuff in shooting. Slow ponderous build up and a failure to react to opposition changes.
Should never have let josh go out on loan
The pair of you ask questions that don't need asking in the first place - possession without scoring goals, often - certainly in the case of Middlesbrough, results opportunities for the opposition. Late Lath - drop him. Heart/ head not in it. Give Conway a spell and let him know his got a run of games to get it together..
You can talk as much as you like, wringing your hands as to what is going wrong. The answer is simple - two words - Johnny Howson.
The bookies think we're good for 2nd... And me.🙃 UTFB
Headless chicken at number 9, the sooner Conway and Forss get back the better.
Hamilton kept drifting in like what all the players on that side do I’d like to see him get his head down and run on the outside but I don’t know if that’s his game
I agree but he is right footed. A cross with his left leg might be rubbish? He scored for Man City in the champions league playing off the right but Doak is better there. I wouldn't mind seeing him play number 10 instead of Azaz
Not blaming jones here for the loss however when he came on and never got at sema once!! Sema pushed forward once he knew doak went off! For me forss needs to be ahead of jones in the pecking order on that right
We could be sat on max points and nobody could argue. But were not, and the fact that we're putting it down to fortune or finishing makes me think the staff don't have a clue how to solve it, and that's more worrying than having a glaring deficiency that can be fixed.
Shef utd were docked 2 pts before the season started and have had 6 clean sheets in a row and unbeaten
They’ll win the league
