- Here are the Out-Takes & Edits in clearing all the snow from the Nor-Easter of December 2020 that many of you had asked for . . . .
Unfortunately not everything can be done just sitting on the tractor . . !
Haven’t seen any videos from you recently. I look forward to the 2025r vids and respect how you take care of your equipment. Hope all is well
great videos. I have a question about ballast weights, do you use any of the suitcase weights on the rear or on the front? I have a 54" snow thrower on order and wondering about extra weight etc....thanks.
Sorry for the delayed response - for some reason I did not get a notification that you had made one . . .
No, I do not use suitcase weights. What I use is a Ballast Box that attaches to my 3-point hitch and it is filled with concrete blocks and bricks. Easily weighs over 600Lbs. I typically do not attach my Ballast Box when using the Snow Thrower
When the Snow Thrower is down, you would want to put it in the "float" position - the Hydraulic Control Handle pushed all the way forward. When the Snow Thrower is down, all the weight of the unit is on the ground, and no longer on the tractor. The weight of the tractor, including the operator is spread normally over all four wheels - meaning the front axel is not over loaded, or the rear axel is light.
I have no traction issues on my driveway given it is pretty much flat, and am in 2 wheel drive 99% of the time. The exception to being in 4-wheel drive has only been when we have the occasion 20+ inch snow storm and/or a heavy wet snow that is over a foot in depth.
Extra weight never hurts, especially if you have more of a sloped/hilly driveway. I would encourage you to add some additional weight if this is your case just for peace of mind.
I hope that helps you in your decision process. Thanks for watching!
@@m3entertainment228 thank you very much for your opinion on this. Much appreciated.
Hey any new videos
what happened to the videos?
Who says money can't buy happiness.
I still haven't stopped grinning since getting this 2025R, and every time I am doing a job with this machine. It saves me a lot of time, and not to mention not nearly as many body aches doing everything by hand/manually.
HYDRAULICS - a wonderful thing!
Thanks for watching . . .
I just got my new 2025r with factory cab
Hey any new videos
I do! In the process of edited them now. With the holidays, family getting together, etc., took me away from getting it done sooner . . .
Appreciate you looking forward to new ones . . . .
Looking forward to the new videos
