@@2kmessiah_350 depends on the tune. Integrated engineering has one for the ZF8 like this car and it has faster, more aggressive shifts, adjustable launch control settings, torque limiters raised, and a few more things. It makes a difference, I believe it’s worth it.
Hello quick question. I recently went APR Stage 2 Tune and got the supercharger pulley upgrade witj an Intake in already. Im going to install a HX as well. Is adding the TCU tune going to make it faster as well? Im going for a sleeper look for my audi. Still have stock exhaust.
@@zhelyazA6 apparently I cant throw a TCU tune on it? My car is an audi a6 2015 Quattro prestige. And the guy that did my Stage 2 tune. He workd for APR and said because its not dual clutch. I cant do a TCU tune....hmm
@@MrSamoannn Of course you can. APR can't because they deal with the dual clutch tranies in the B8 S4. You have the ZF 8 speed which is easily tuned with HP tuners cable. Other tuner companies do it as well. It's ok to have an APR ECU tune and different TCU tune.

@Unreal Tuning On these cars, you can. The tune changes when/at what pressure the bypass valve cracks open to bleed boost, around 11.6 psi. Poster of the video said after the tune he was hitting 13.8~ psi. The tune *literally* just tells the ECM to not bleed the boost off, and is tuning the car to make the best of the extra air. Anything past stage 1 is exactly that: pulley upgrades.
Stock 311 or 333 hp can easily cranked up till about 420 - 435 hp with only stage 1 (software updated ecu). Stage 2 is achieved with another pulley and software till about 460 hp. Good for 4.4 sec 0 - 100 km/h. Stock is 5.5 sec. 0 - 100 km/h. I have a stock 311 hp A6 C7 with a very fast and solid tiptronic 8 gearbox.
I own a 2016 A6 with an APR stage 1 engine tune, no tranny tune and put down very similar numbers. These tunes are no joke! Great video!

How does an ecu tune increase boost on a supercharged car? You have to change the pulley.
You change the fuel mapping and timing..
