Finallllllly Girls' Generation 👑 Honestly, SNSD is so iconic at this point, that they've transcended the fight for titles like Queens of K-pop. They're like Gods of K-pop. Most girl groups have become idols because of them, most boy groups were genuine SNSD fanboys. The wildfire success of their magnus opum Gee (2009) can actually be mapped to the orginal rise in global popularity of K-pop. Like, Gee was handsdown the biggest K-pop song, and I think, most viewed and winning, till Gangnam Style dropped in 2012, which is why, in 2023, Rolling Stone named it the greatest K-pop song of all time. Their debut song Into The New World (2007) is known for being the best Kpop debut, and also as the national anthem of K-pop. And while that sounds cringe, the reason for that is because it's used in every South Korean protest as a means to peacefully protest, including the one that just happened for the impeachment of the South Korean president. It's also the official anthem for SK's LGBTQ+ community. Every Girls' Gen member is a household name. Most of the members are now famous Kdrama actresses. The blonde (in this video) is Taeyeon and she's one of the top 2 female soloists in SK, the other being IU. This is not an exaggeration, Taeyeon is one of K-pop's greatest vocalists, as expected of an SM main vocalist ofc, but she's pretty much the template. You'll love her discography. Think of her as the Celine Dion of K-pop. Her voice is powerful and emotional, and when she was 19, a critic described her as having the voice of a woman who's been divorced 7 times. Now, she's almost every K-pop producer's dream artist to work with, including JYP himself, who's gone on record to say this. Fun fact: Taeyeon was actually the inspiration behind BTS's song Boy In Luv. She also dated EXO's Baekhyun back in 2014-15. You should watch her Killing Voice.
Girls' Gen just celebrated their 17th anniversary and the group is still together, despite most of them not being in SM anymore. Back in their peak, SNSD were known as the 'insurmountable wall' because they were constantly winning over both boy and girl groups with hit-after-hit.
Btw, yes, Tiffany is the Cali girl, and if you didn't get it, Girls' Gen TTS is the predecessor to EXO CBX, it's their vocal subunit. Alot of EXO members featured in TTS's debut song Twinkle.

You did indeed nail it with identifying Tiffany as the native Californian. (Actually there were two Californians in Girls' Generation - the other was Jessica Jung). The Lion was not Aslan, but the main character from the Girls' Generation (full group) mv/ song Lion Heart, which was released the same year as this song. You should definitely do a dive on Girls' Generation and Girls' Generation-TTS, also the solo work - especially of Taeyeon (the leader and main singer), Hyoyeon or Hyo, Tiffany, and Jessica. Jessica separated from the group in 2014 (that is a whole thing) and the group went from 9 to 8. Thank you for your reaction. Also...
