I’m glad it was helpful! The task changes every year so I’m not sure if specific tips will be helpful but look through the requirements for the task thoroughly and think about a strong why for why you are creating each piece for the task.
Hi everyone! My E-Book is no longer available on my website - if you would like a copy, please send me an email at glorykukyt@gmail.com or send me a DM on Instagram @glory.kuk You can see details of the book on this website: glorykuk.wixsite.com/portfolio/product-page/a-guide-for-applying-to-architecture
I think I used a PowerPoint software like keynote which I actually don’t recommend now 😂 - I would recommend InDesign as it’s made for laying out documents - but use whatever software you’re comfortable with, PowerPoint worked for me :)
Hi Glory, thanks for the useful tips!! May I ask if I should make my portfolio more architectural and do projects including buildings and modeling if I were to apply for an architecture course?
I’m happy to help! Other unis are alright with it I think - Bartlett doesn’t require your portfolio to be very architectural - but you can if you’d like and if you actually enjoy the process of including buildings, you just need to justify the reasoning behind the project instead of ‘I like buildings and I want to do architecture’.
I was wondering about the process and when is the portfolio submitted. Also if there are any set requirements for the portfolio regarding size, number of pages/projects or if there’s a set theme, am I asked for sketches and drawings of a certain thing or can it be anything I want? Also thank you very much for the tips
I'm not sure when the portfolio is submitted - you definitely need to check through your uni/website portal. I don't think there are any strict rules with size, but each school should tell you their requirements when you apply (number of pages, document format), otherwise it's pretty free! Thank you for watching!
What is my technical skills aren’t the best coz I’m not rlly an artist but I’m trying to improve my art skills but everytime I watch accepted portfolio videos they r all so good and kinda discourage me 🥲 I can come up with good ideas but I don’t think my artistic skills r very high
Hi! Thank you for watching :) - yes you could - although I would say keep them small on the side of the page since you don't want them to dominate the page or the portfolio.
youre actually saving my life with these. do you have any tips on the assessment/task portion of the application for bsc and msc architecture?

May I ask about the range of your grades if you're comfortable?
I really wanted to know if I can get in with the grades I have.
I got 5A*s for the subjects I took, but check requirements online as I think Bartlett only requires AAB.
@@glorykuk damn those requirements are harsh but you really did a good job! Well I hope you enjoy your time at UCL!
Do they accept mostly digital art in the portfolio?
I'd say having hand drawn pieces are quite important!
this is a life saver sis thank you so much! so helpful
hello, this video is very helpful😍. can I send you my portfolio to give me a little feedback if you don't mind?🙏
Could we work with reference images for portfolio?
