Ma’am, Is computer necessary in first year?

I'm applying for Cambridge, Bath, UCL, and Sheffield too this year! (+ Manchester). I know this was posted 2 years ago but does anyone know how I would go about combining things in a portfolio? I've got two short physical portfolios from work experience at architectural companies, coursework from both art and Architecture A-level, work done outside of college (observational work, work inspired by architects, looking at problems in the architecture field etc), notes from art galleries, architectural lectures, and architectural events + competition projects. This will end up being incredibly lengthy but i want it all to be included... Any ideas on how to not accidentally create a PhD? Is it okay for it to be a bit all over the place? (I'm like half way through the video when I post this comment btw)

WOW... you accurately identified the problems of architectural practice but your solution is to go into real estate??? So all the things that you aspired to and believed in during your studies got hampered by profit driven market dynamics and the way out is to strip of everything architecture related and just focus on this exact part that caused the problems you are telling about...

Are you still making videos on this topic? I recently quit my job in landscape architecture. I did it for a full year and I don't think I could have kept going. I felt like it was eating away at my soul. There was no room for interpersonal relationships because of demands and pressure from billing hours. And there were so many technicalities and policies that that I felt I was drowning in and that chocked out all creativity. I just knew that I did not want to spend my whole life behind CAD in a cubicle, alone, so quiet and miserably stressed out.

As someone who visited in México those “nachos“(?) are tearing me apart. Mexican food isn’t that great in the UK, you rather should’ve tried Indian cuisine.

95% arch firms will give you : 1-mediocre salary (You can afford to buy a home is less likely to start a family 2- ( some firms doesn’t provide benefits) 3-They want you to do free overtime (if you don’t , they will look at you as a mediocre ( because you have standards) “ We will buy you pizza but stay all night slave “😂 4- you are not the designer = this means is not your project , your creation= zero satisfaction. Imagine spending around 5 to 10 years like this . If u get the licenses that doesn’t mean you will succeed. If you are ok with all I have mentions , is ok to study arch.

Having an independent life is hard, you are definitely a bigger risk taker than i am, I'm 23 and i still live with my parents and still need 2 years to finish architecture school.

I like how Bartlett have Meng that COMBINED architecture and engineering. Even though it considered a UNDERGRAD degree( since it a entry degree that is four years instead of one or two years. And it accredited by BOTH architecture and engineering accreditation bodies in UK .

I agree with a lot of these things but working in an office myself I would say it's alot harder to climb to be considered "Higher Up or Higher Esteemed" Alot just stay as architects that draft and coordinate. Idk I wouldn't consider it easy - might depend on firm and country though

Does 10nth igcse marks matter when applying to universities or are only A level marks considered?
