Question 8 specifically asks for reliable data transmission, and UDP is defined as Unreliable data transmission. I get that the latency part of the question is a concern, but wouldn't that be resolved by a network type, rather than protocol type? Wouldn't A) TCP be a better answer for this question?

I think this could have been worded better. From what I’ve read SCADA needs low latency because it needs to react to ever-changing environmental issues. It can’t wait on a handshake for every communication. UDP is best for this. However, using “reliable” makes it confusing especially since TCP is an option.

@@DEMIntern After doing some research I found that the SCADA architecture primarily employs several protocols, including Modbus/RTU, and Modbus TCP/IP.

Is LoRaWAN even on the A+ objectives??

The CompTIA A+ exam primarily focuses on IT fundamentals and entry-level IT skills. It covers areas such as hardware, networking, mobile devices, troubleshooting, and security. While LoRaWAN may not be directly covered in the CompTIA A+ exam objectives, it's worth noting that staying informed about emerging technologies like LoRaWAN can be valuable for a dynamic IT career. The IT landscape is continually evolving, and having awareness of technologies beyond the exam scope can enhance your overall understanding of the industry. If you have any specific questions about A+ objectives or any other IT topics, feel free to ask!
