Not just is this a great movie, but it's also a biopic of the guy whose rap u heard in the beginning of the trailer. So it's based on a true story. And therefore is a good introduction to real indian street - rappers lives.
I am actually a little jealous. I would love to enjoy the experience of watching Gully Boy for the first time again.

This is important that you understand the lyrics to understand the movie completely. Rap is like poetry and like poetry it's lost in translation. My Tamil friends don't know hindi well so they didn't like the film that much. "Apna time ayega" "sher aya sher" and "azadi" these three you need to understand before you watch the movie.
