I wish that this topic was required to be discussed in elementary schools. While also not banning books from school libraries, just because a character is in the LGBTQIA+ community. Same goes for any books with character(s) of any group, like ethnicity or religion. There’s a lot I wished grade schools taught, like requiring high schooler to have home economics, to learn how to do adult stuff, like taxes and cooking basic stuff. So, thank you for at least helping some elementary students learn about the LGBTQIA+ community.
